Oh err, I don’t even know what sort of wine Pino Grigio is. I’m a man of simple tastes, I just stick to English ale for my boozing :bier:. As for veal piccata, it’s pie n chips for me :food:

Pies, pints, and pushrod engines. The three P's of a good outing.

Haha, well, same.   :drink:

I am reminded of the V11 Sport debut at the November 1997 EICMA.  I bought the second one available in Tennessee, USA, in August 2000. Right at three years after the tease, er "debut."

So, no reason to get all worked up and expect your pie&chips before your third pint . . .

Progressive Wilber springs mounted, rear in progress. Good news for next summer.

Stock pipes from Chuck, of course they are quieter and heavier, but the black looks good to me.  The carbon Mistrals were beat up pretty bad, def showing some age.

Lots of us actually prefer the mellow bellow from the LaFranconi. It's a sweet sound.

And the extra ten pounds?  I weighed that leaving The Gondola on the South'n SpineRaid after that lasagna . . .

Others even had "birthday cake" . . .  :o  ^_^

And where is this pic taken ? This looks better than the baloney sandwich I just had for lunch !

The Gondola in McMinnville, Tennessee, is our halfway home lunch-spot leaving the South'n SpineRaid.  We always arrive with a big appetite after traversing the 4 thousand-foot climbs and drop-offs over the Cumberland Plateau. They have never let us down, but this visit was exceptional. Certainly the food, but mostly due to the presence of Kentuckians.

Seems they have a particular "effect" on the service staff . . . :sun:

We've been stopping there for years. First time the hostess went to check on seating and came back to say, "You're bikers, right? We have a place for you in the back." (Mind you, we roll in along with the local after-church crowd.:ninja: :o )

She then seated us with the "best server on staff" . . .

(aka: off-duty Adult Entertainment Specialist ) :o   :sun:
