quazi-moto
I have a lidless FBF setup at the moment, but I like the look of pod filters on the V11. Is it fairly easy to convert to pods? How is the induction noise in comparison to a lidless setup? I read so many bad things about the induction noise with a lidless kit before I got mine, but the extra sound when I'm rolling on the throttle doesn't bother me in the least. I'm surprised that so many people said it would be unbearable without ear plugs. The side panels on my '02 LeMans are all cracked so I might just ditch 'em anyway which would afford me the room to install pods. Do any sensors, etc. need to be relocated with pod filters? Guzzirider
I'm with you both- if you don't like the sound of an unsilenced free breathing Italian twin then buy a Honda Deauville or a Volvo. Or maybe we could have a Nancy Boy forum just for such persons!! Guy
jrt
You'll need to relocate the air temperature sensor. I just zip-tied mine to the main frame structure. I think someone else put theirs in a film canister or something like that to protect it- that's overkill in my opinion (goes out and checks sidestand).
