BrianG
I am going to change the front brake master cylinder to a Brembo 19X29 radial unit. I need to know if the handle bar diameter is 7/8 or some metric value. Does anyone know for certain? Any opinions on the selected specs?

Tom M
I bought my bike with a radial Brembo MC that was purchased from Todd at Guzzitech (RacerX on this board). I'm sure he can tell/sell you exactly what you need I believe the handlebars are 7/8" dia which is 22.22mm.

Skeeve
My V11 Sport measures 22mm not 7/8" 22mm is only .225mm less than 7/8"; that's only about .866", which is well within most production tolerances for 7/8" (.875") bars & controls, I'm guessing. For all practical purposes, approximating pi by using 22/7 is about the same sort of imprecision as swapping 22mm & 7/8". Yeah, they aren't equal by any stretch, but there's such a thing as "close enough." Now, for missions to Mars, swapping SAE & metric isn't kosher: for attaching bicycle parts to your moto bar mounts, yeah, it's within tolerances... It is enough of a difference to require shimming on many .875" or 7/8" accessories when used on 22.0 MM bars. Many 7/8 twist grips will roll about on 22mm bars . Some folks do prefer no-fuss applications, if you want a good fit use a good dimension. Tolerances stack up, a large "7/8 inch" and a small "22MM" equals a beer can shim. He asked if it was 7/8 or some metric value. It is a metric bar,22millimeters
