  2. Would it make sence to have a V11S AND a Griso?? Am about to trade in my V7R for A Griso... (Sorry if this is off topic...)
  3. I have A pair of mistrals that I am Not using. One is too scratched for my liking... These ones: http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1685 Still sounds good though: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HTMF5a4ALsQ
  4. Found a 88dia bezel with a 81,5dia glass off ebay which was a good fit. Only 15 GBP. This one:https://m.ebay.com/itm/88mm-Dia-Bezel-Glass-for-VEGLIA-Triumph-T140-M-Cycle-Speedo/311511167934?_mwBanner=1&ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F0%2F0%2F0%3Fmpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fulk%252Fitm%252F311511167934%26rvr_id%3D0&ul_noapp=true&epid=689736281
  5. I have a 2001 red frame, which I understand is not so prone to spring trouble. Am I wrong? Still would be interested in one or two; better safe than sorry. As I have a annoying third gear I am going in for some fine tuning anyway as per recommendations elsewhere in this splendid forum (have the lucky-phil-extender-mod).
  6. Have been looking for this too. Like the look.
  7. This I could seriously buy. Am following this thread!
  8. I just installed some lowered pegs and need to lower the control pedal A. However adjusting the cam E isnt enough. What do you do then? Maybe that is what Docc explained, but I didn't quite understand it...
  9. Would this be the shift level with part no. GU01250830? I see one on ebay, and AF1racing say they have 1 left... Harpers Motor may have it - they also offer a replacement in "billett aluminium" but can`t tell from their site if it is in stock.
  10. Yes it is. I rather not open it though....
  11. Hi! Does anyone know the diameter for the glass on the Veglia Speedo? The old one is gone so I can`t measure it, but I am guessing about 76 mm.
  12. Jason Molina and his Magnolia Electric Co: Deeply missed and way too overlooked by the general crowd
  13. Mine shifts generally sweet, but from 2nd to 3rd there is some "resistance" - especially when rev is high. Almost like it must be forced at times. Any idea if this excellent recipe will cure that?

    V7 tuning

Here is my V7 taking off
  15. Nut&bolt restored Rosso Mandello: http://m.finn.no/mc/all/ad.html?finnkode=73879790 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The V7 is crazy sexy&cool and affordable. With it Guzzi has reached a new generation of riders. I love mine. As I love my V11. Even though they are not perfect any of them.
  17. Yes, it is because it is difficult to get test rides. I really like the look of the Griso, but how many cool naked bikes do I really need, as I have a V7R and a V11S already, and I cant`t seem to let any of them go...So given this, plus I live in a cold country, a Norge may be what I need. The Norges looks is growing on me, but there is nothing quite like the Griso in my eyes... Norge is Norwegian for Norway, and I am childish enough to think that it is kinda to ride a Guzzi named after my country too
  18. Very nice. I am considering a Norge myself. Or a Griso. Difficult to choose when testing is impossible...
  19. I have tested by driving behind my wife. Pretty sure it shows approx 20km/h to much all the time...
  20. Stock yes. No quick fix then. Thanks for the reply.
  21. This might have been covered before, but my speedo starts at 20 km/h. It never returns to zero, and I always have to substract 20 to tell my speed. Not a big deal, just annoying in the long run. Any ideas? I replaced the cable with a new from TLM (angle drive replacement) but no difference (apart from a bit less wobbling. Now it only wobbles at speeds above the speed limit... )
  22. Minimum 2500 USD this is gonna cost me if I do it at my expense, the workshop estimates. Removing engine, dismantling gearbox, change parts and put it all back together. Yes, labour intensive work is costly over here...Given proper instructions and the right tools, how hard can it be to do it myself?
