Do you mean the swingarm bearings in the frame?
If it is these, they are a special item, not obtainable somewhere else.

I meant the tapered bearing, the fulcrum of the CARC. That bearing is said to be a failure prone component since allegedly installed without lubricant during assembly.
As I am considering a Stelvio in the 30,000 miles range, I am making a shopping list of what parts I need to source.
After the first batch Breva 1100 with wrong bearings, all other not so early Carc do not have a problem there. Just leave it together.

In our battle tanks, all the roller bearings came from TIMKEN; https://catalog.timken.com/Tapered-Roller-Bearing-Catalog/C/#You mean the steering head bearing? Koyo 32907JR-3. Since the same size is used in all modern Aprilias there is some choice
PS: I see I missed Pete's post, where do you see something on the Dynotec website about a bearing? They don't do price lists I think. They are a tuning/special builder.

There are two or 3 types v11 Marzocchi forks, Andreani has cartridges for one type, I think the black ones with 40mm legs. But they sell them as for all years what is wrong. Lucky Phil has put a lot of time in this. I'm sure he documented some here.

Thanks, yours certainly looks like a standard "2002" Champagne Lemans, so I guess MG must have made some of them available in 2001 for the 2002 model year. And BTW, it looks great and original
That really isn't that unusual, as even here in the USA automakers and other manufacturers would begin manufacturing the next model year in the months prior and sometimes even would begin selling them late in the preceding year. So one could get a 1975 model in late 1974. Maybe that's what MG did here. Interesting
Al, after all those Guzzi years, you have never found out that the USA gets bikes one year late? The le mans was delivered here in 2001, I had one too, where I got my gearbox of for the Daytona.
It's not only Guzzi that come late to the USA, Aprilia too.

I got the layers letter too, for fastguzzi.nl
So I gave it to Piaggio, can't afford the time and money to fight it. Web site is now at http://www.minnaert.net

No I have always thought the v11 have 40mm offset. But it can be that they put NOS 1100sport I clamps in the first 2000. In the manuals I know they are 40mm.

The red frame v11 sport (KR) got some bad reviews in Germany and other places, because not as other old Guzzis, it wasn't so stable. They were delivered with 170 wide tire on 4,5", what is a to wide tire for the rim. And that makes the tire shape to pointy. German tuner Dynotec made a corrected version of the first gen V11 sport, other offset triple clamps were part of it. But in Italy, Aprilia just owned Moto Guzzi, and didn't want the bad publicity so they took drastic measures.
The second generation(KS) got a wide tire rear, the popular 180/55 on a 5,5"rim. The area between swingarm and gearbox got a extra steel rods to make it stiffer. with extension to the engine crank case. The front engine mount was reinforced. And the steeringhead was extended to have more wheelbase.
The third generation(KT) kept same geometry but got optical tweaks and the 43mm forks where this subject is about.
Not all changes occurred at the same time, first mount old stock before making new. It has been always the same.

PULL the swingarm, take the shaft off, and grease it on your desk. And before and after greasing you feel if the ends rotate without sour spots. That is the only way to be sure that all is right.

it was usable. But was for another idea that never finished.

I see I was wrong on the rubbers, messed up with daytona rs file.
-
left one is 02114000 = centauro, right is from v11. Bottom to hole is 10 mm on left one 16 right. Diameter is same

At the bottom in the airbox is the partnumber embossed in. The rubbers have same partnumbers for both.
Are you in a fire zone? My daughter left Australia because of it burning everywhere. She worked 3 month in Melborne preparing for a long holiday, and when they started that, the fires started. She went to Argentinia now.
-
The two airboxes (v11 and centy )I have here, have same diameter holes in them, but one has them 3mm higher than the other. Whats against lifting the airbox a bit, the tank is higher too.
The mounting rubbers in the airbox are the same for v11 and centy so the holes should be too I think. If you put the trumpets in from the inside airbox, with the rubbers, doesn't it fit, the rubbers take some play too.
-
real daytona has complete different airbox. But daytona RS has airbox like the sport 1100i, the centy has different airbox. But that looks like the v11 sport one. In my parts list from centy en daytona RS the intake hoses have same part number, and also the part (small hose) fitting it in the airbox is the same. I just looked in my shed, and have two centy/v11 boxes, who are same size, bit not the same, one has air temp mounting top right, just under the filter. other not. I might have one more, in the garage 3 miles from home. Do not compare real daytona1000 parts thats different sure.
The centy airbox was made for when engine was 10mm to the right, now it's back center, so that one is mising the 10mm alignment too. I don't know if the intake from 2v and 4v is different. But Know of a lot of 4v to 2v frame conversions, and they never mentioned it. So aren't you trying to make it to perfect?
We are talking about the 10mm horizontal alignment?

The other issue is the holes in the airbox for the Centauro inlet trumpets dont line up so I might either raise the hole by 10mm and plastic weld the bottom of the hole again or modify the inlet trumpets to the correct angle. Dont know if a Centauro airbox would work better and some stuff like intake trumpets are very hard to find so cutting them up is not my favourite option.
Things to muse on.
BTW the clutch seems to work:)
Ciao
The centauro and v11 airbox look the same, only the centy one doesn't have the mountpoints for the sidecovers.
Do you have the centauro trumpets?
I did cut a centy airbox once.....

I thought about one in korea that also has a scratch on the swingarm, but that is another vin.
Picture of the scratch?

Could you please explain this cure a little better ? I know less than I did .
The belts were put on wrong, so cams had different timing then it should be, lucily the valves didn't get the piston. There are more people who made this mistake.
@madbunny, the v11 for 15m xdf for Tunerpro will do for the mgs01 ecu, even the map is the same. If you want to sell it,contact me.
PS what are the last three VIN numbers?

Hi Jaap,
You need a new tapatalk installation for 4.2 In that I found some problems, and got an interim release from them, where I pointed them on another problem with rights. I can send you the one I got from them.

15m.c7 is newer then c3. And will behave different, but you might not find the difference, it can be irrelevant.
For tps reset, the linear tps types like pf1c use tps reset. It has nothing to do with lambda. The bellagio with 5am has pf3c and not tps reset. The v7 has pf1c and tps reset and 15rc.
15rc is used when a lambda is used, the v11 was made with 15m and 15rc at the same time, depending on country where they were made for. Same loom. This from 2003

And when you've had this, next will be php7 what won't go with 3.x version Invision software. so have to update to 4.x . The forum to ssl was easy on my site.
