  2. One of the all-time greats. Badass aggressive style. My $ is going on Biaggia/Aprilia next year.
  3. Now THIS is the board I fell in love with... Welcome back, Tex. Things have gotten a bit too sensitive around here lately.
  4. Tired. Boring. Love bikes. Worship Mercury. Easy targets for a wobbly mind...............
  5. The Paso? Ugly? For 1988, it was the schnizit. I still love mine. I also LOVED the Hayabusa when it debuted. "...in the eye of the beholder..."

    My old girl.

Even though it didn't really suit me (a bit large and heavy), I sometimes regret having sold my Centauro. Such POWER...
  7. I hope Tex returns to the forum. I miss his posts...
  8. ok price. get 'em............
  9. Yes - the Pazzo shorties. Definitely better than stock and well worth the $.
  10. I had a starter replaced under warranty years ago on my 2003. I'd replace the battery first, but it could be...
  11. Wow. That's a lot of weight in the wrong place. Must lead to some mad stability issues.
  12. I'll just be quiet. That site is hideously BORING (mildguzzi). Makes us look like a buch of teenyboppers.....
  13. I'll see if I can dig up a copy of the video. Jerry forced us into an overly-long introduction, but, after that, I remember it as being quite funny. I had to put my foot down to get Jerry in drag, but, once I did, he had a great time!
  14. Actually -- as I see it -- we are an extraordinarily brave breed of men...
  15. It's official: http://ukpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5hx...W3GxMRE_gGhYu0w
  16. We can ONLY PRAY that Hayden winds up with Ducati. Perhaps he'll finally be treated with the respect he deserves. WSBK needs Sykes. WSBK has provided MUCH better racing than Moto GP this year, and I don't see that trend ending, especially with the arrival of Aprilia and BMW...
  17. I'm a Ducati owner, and this one leaves me cold. Did these stooges hire Pierre Terblanche?
  18. In case anyone is wondering, I sent dlaing a copy of "Rebel Scum" because I found his commentary to be thoughtful and thought-provoking, even though he was only commenting on the trailer. He is the "official" North American reviewer of the film for v11lemans dot com. Hopefully, the thread will stay alive and not degenerate as it did before. Thanks for the honest review, David. Things are picking up steam, and I hope to be able to announce a distribution deal in the near future. Francis Percarpio a/k/a v50man
  19. In the mid-nineties I had the pleasure of producing some comedic music videos for the late Jerry Reed. Low budget stuff, but a lot of fun. I'll never forget when -- at a pre-production lunch -- he looked up at our attractive waitress and said, "What say you and me go halfers on a baby?". Quite the nut and very personable, he took great pleasure in playfully abusing all of the crew during our challenging "swamp" shoot for his song, "Amos Moses." I was never a big "Smokey and the Bandit" fan, but I know there are quite a few out there who will miss "Snowman." Last night I found this production still from the "Amos Moses" shoot. Jerry is on the far right. I am the one in the white t-shirt with praying hands. On the left is director/DP Mil Cannon, still a frequent collaborator and good friend. RIP Jerry
  20. Anyone else seen Aprilia's new V4? Even with Alex Hoffman on board, they're gonna be a major threat in WSBK next year. Tweak it and put an eagle on the side of it, and you've got my attention...
  21. That's everything the losers sent me. I'll push...
  22. http://www.newyorkmc.com On Jamaica Ave. in Queens Village. They carry the S100.
