  1. Sorry, Docc. Didn't mean to hijack the thred. Should we start a new one about Bucee's?
  2. Bucee's is good stuff. Beaver nuggets will change your outlook on life. There is one near Barber's museum; so, one more reason to stop by B'ham.
  3. Sorry my cameo appearance was shorter than usual this year. I looked for you guys at the top of the mountain after the falls. Spent the back half of the day running from the rain. Hoping next year things are back to "normal".
  4. Cheers, Docc! I'm the one that ran in to Paul at the "Time Warp Tea Room" on their bike night. I'm sure I'll find my way to Tellico this weekend.
  5. Rats, You'll be missed. I was going to press you pretty hard to buy the Ballabio this year
  6. For those of you on the bubble as to come to Tellico Plains this year.... You can pose your machine in front of this gorgeous waterfall nearby. Bald River Falls

  8. It was good to see you all last night. I'm having trouble shaking loose from work to come back today. By not being there, I think it increases your chance for dry weather anyway. Ride safe.
  9. So sorry I can't make it this year. Have fun, and be safe.

  11. I couldn't resist one more pic. My "Ruby" Thanks, Docc for keeping the raid together. What a great group of folks.
  12. How many Guzzi riders does it take to make a valve cover gasket? This many
  13. Built this one. Uses 18mm sockets on the porkchop nuts. Spring loaded keepers keep the sockets in place.
  14. Really? it's gonna start out on a Friday the 13th.....really?
  15. Best to disconnect battery. Had the battery disconnected. Wouldn't attempt it otherwise. Just meant that I nearly routed the braided hose such that it would have been really ugly when the battery was reconnected. I could see where the rubber boot cover on the starter lug could creep up causing a problem. Not sure why, sometimes when I post here; what I say and what I meant are so differn't Scott
  16. Finished now, and shifting fine. Only problem was when dry fitting for trial, I put the shifter on a spline or two off and only had first and neutral, as the shifter hit the frame behind it before going into second. Also for first timers: watch the routing of the braided shock res hose when reinstalling. It is dangerously close to the hot cable serving the starter. Nearly had sparks here. Thanks, belfastguzzi!
