  1. 12,720 miles, Runs great, had all fluids and bike gone through last year, new rear disc/caliper brake. I modified to have handle bars, ie street fighter style, uses Jackel Handlebar clamp as seen in photo, have all parts to revert back. Bar End weights. Airbox removed (still have) and has mistral pipes. Also have magni fairing (perfect condition) and all bits (two windshields for magni), including old clip on handle bars, signal extenders, mirrors, lower cowl. Includes guzzi luggage and tank bag. Was going to sell it last year but just couldn't let go at the time. Have decided my sport bike days are over (the abductors just can't handle it) and just bought a British Roadster so my wife and I can enjoy the open air together. Asking $6000 b/o Deal can be made with or without Magni. I am second owner, purchased in 2009 with just over 8K miles (correction). (bike is in NH) Title in hand

Vtwin, I'm going to check with the shop again today, but I'm sure the answer is going to be the same, "I talked with the parts distributor yesterday and they say it will be a few more days", etc etc. Once I do that I will contact you to see what you are thinking. Some considerations: Bike has a handle-bar conversion (uses Jackal handlebar clamp) Open airbox Have all parts from original sport handlebars (sans grips) Have a Magni Fairing and parts available to be included or sold separately depending on offer. And if memory serves the pipes are Mistrals (bought that way) David

They are all aftermarket, the discs are no longer made. I've tried several places, MG Cycle, etc. nobody has the discs (original nor aftermarket).

Thanks all for trying to reach me. The bike will "eventually" be up for sale. The "eventually" is the fact that it has been sitting at the Shop for close to 4 months waiting on brake parts, (disc and caliper and pads) for the rear, as the supply chain for these is basically non-existent, the pads and caliper are in, but no disc. I had planned to ride one last season and then sell her. As of right now I have no idea when my V11 will be done as the parts distributor has no answer on the disc for the shop. Every day it's the same story. BTW, I am in Salem, NH. David

It’s more about justifying the purchase of a new “fun car” for my wife. Once the kids are out of the house I’ll buy a new motorcycle and at that point will want a 2-up anyway. I don’t get attached to things, makes it easier to have more variety. Someone else can enjoy this one and give it the love it deserves for the price I deserve

Thanks just wanted to see if there was some crazy exponential appreciation in value. Either way I’ll come out of it pretty good

Oh man, I didn't know. Well rules are rules I guess. Just a mere matter of the $5K handling fee. :-)

Okay, so been thinking... bike right now is in shop to get sorted out after sitting for 2 years (except for occasional startups and 2 short rides). Getting a rebuilt caliper and disc on rear. Has always run well and pulled strong and did so on way to shop, albeit without a rear brake. ;-) But I think I'm going to sell it. I don't ride it enough and thinking of buying a convertible my wife and I can take around more comfortably. My weekends are fully taken up with kids baseball tournaments, etc. for the next several years, so really just no time for it. So what's the market for a 2000 Silver Sport @12k miles Has had a handlebar conversion, mistrals, open airbox, aprilla Mirrors, Guzzi luggage. Have all original parts, plus a Magni fairing which I could sell together or separate. bike looks great, a little faded porkchop. but otherwise excellent. David
  10. Thanks for the info. According to guzzi shop the caliper was entirely toast.. rotor also. He sourced used ones for cheap money so we are going that route. Said there was no way to rebuild what was left
  11. Hi. The caliper seized closed. Bike is at shop as I don’t wrench, they can’t find replacement.
  12. Can anyone tell me if there is a replacement for the Brake calipers that I've been told are no longer made? Need to find a solution for the shop that suggested there might be used ones out there. Any help much appreciated. Would need specific part numbers or what specifically fits Thanks David
