  1. Yes very nice............ looks the part as well with the unobtanium factory Ti-Racing exhaust system which looks damage free.

Shame about the non factory painted valve covers and what looks to be possibly aftermarket carbon like turn signals.

Its good to see that there are still nice ones out there.

A few years back I had three Daytona RS's in the shop at once. Two 'A' kit bikes and one with the full 'C' kit. The 'A' kit bikes were much nicer to ride.

The reality is that a V11, any V11, is a much nicer and better bike than any of the early Hi-Cams.

They are lovely to look at though.

Come on Pete............... nothing sounds like those high cams am I right people?

“There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a bright-red, hunch-back, warp-speed 900cc cafe racer is one of them—but I want one anyway, and on some days I actually believe I need one. That is why they are dangerous.”

Well stated................ And I'm loving that moto art.

  4. Your ruthless Doc........... :D

As for all the other stuff.......... all you need to do is take a trip through a dealership of all the new plastic wonders and compare this sexy thing to all the other new junk for the full asking price and as Mitcha once told me ( MI out of Seattle ) some here the music........ most don't.

There not making any more of these wonderful machines are they.  :notworthy:

  5. Well boys and girls IMHO respectful racing like living is directly proportional to that individuals loss and consequences ............... take the TT pilots for example.

Lots of speed... lots of real danger..... lots of real men with respect for good reason if you want to have a chance of coming out of that one alive( with all the gold) you wont be riding like MM ;)

For better or worse that's probably the way it needs to be.    :2c:

MM didn't have top 10 pace but qualified on pole by getting a tow, and then when the race starts surprise surprise he can't keep up, he then reverts to his default setting of red mist and over riding and the inevitable happens.

    Yup you nailed it....................

  7. Congrats.

You fellas down in the good old U.S of A will have a monster capital advantage buying Guzzis up here now.

Not sure what the final tally would be going that way but at present its taking $1.40 plus  in exchanges from this side to acquire your machinery......

Your going to love the Stelvio for eating up monster miles in comfort .... enjoy.

Only one owner and now the niece is selling it. Falls into recall range and has had the gearbox work completed. I'm a little blown away by the price. This is the second very low mileage greenie I have come across.  First one I let pass because no record of recall satisfaction. This one is a double whammy...too much and too far. It sure is a beauty!

They are spectacular to own and ride,

PS.  Thx Doc for the heads up on mine.   :notworthy:

I prefer “Classic” as a defining moniker rather than “Historic”. It implies a sense of (well..) class and high style opposed to the later that conjures visions of a forlorn ancient past and cobwebs.

As for modern amenities on motorbikes, my V11S stablemate, 10 years younger sibling Griso(the Mutant), still has no ABS, no TC, no ride-by-wire and algorithmic riding modes..

Those are Classic bikes built for real classic men(read old) and as we all know, real men don’t need no stinking “riders aid”.

And before you jump on a 160+hp crotch rocket and rely on electronics to keep you on the road, go learn how to ride a motorcycle... Isn’t that how we all did it?!

    That's the way Brother.............

Does a Norge make for good two up riding? Also is there enough rear seat leg room for a taller rider? Nicole/wife has 34 inseam, worried she would have enough room to foot pegs. Are there lowering rear foot peg kits?

Toured with my 2014 Norge for years then sold it and started traveling with the Stelvio ( the ultimate suv of Guzzis ).

Stelvio has tons of room for me as well as any passenger and with the factory top loader bags I personally will never go back to the Norge for traveling.

Of course that's until I cant get it of the side stand then maybe a V85 or other. :D
