  2. Thanks A few more tricks I am going for next will be a black oil pan to lessen the silver area, black engine guards and red valve covers in that order. We will see what works or doesn't work?
  3. FYI On my 2000 sport I have the Stucchi and just took the big ugly silver cans off and put on late model CF cans which are 4 inches shorter and 10 pounds lighter. This weight reduction really makes the bike feel lighter around the garage for sure! The sound surprisingly is deeper and quite nice. I am surprised at the difference and very much less muted. Turned out to be a good upgrade and looks better too.
  4. The heaviest Moto X bike in the world....if that's what the theme is?
  5. Wow No ridge on the bore it seems. The valve is screwed for sure. Going to hone it for new rings?
  6. Well, mine has 2700 miles as each guy that bought it could not handle the low bars and kept taking it back to the dealership. Then I got it last year and had to have back surgery so I can't ride it until later this year now, so on it goes.......................
  7. That works! Post a pic further back a little for the full effect. I have ben considering one too.
  8. It should be the red that is on the bike already.
  9. I was on their site but your system does not seem to be there?
  10. Simon, Post the link to where you bought it. I like it, good choice!
  11. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...or something like that. I stole the idea off the internet somewhere
  12. Just as a reference here is my silver with new red everywhere, no hugger and stock black arm. I painted the muffler mounts black too and then the seat cover red instead of the swing arm.
  13. I considered red when I was adding red highlights to my silver V11 Sport but decided to leave it black and not draw attention to it. On a black Sport I found on the web the red looked good as an extension of the frame but I wasn't as convinced with silver. The closest red paint I have found for the frame and pork chops is Dodge Viper red. Pretty darn close. Powder coat for durability but really bad when time to re-do it!
  14. That one's on my list. Bring the vintage bikes maybe this year as I bought a trailer to bring them all in.
