These are custom made one-off's as on my previous bike. Designed to give some real protection. Thick aluminum plate covered with black plastic sliders. Design by Kari.

Always wondered why these type of sliders are not available commercially ...

Easy to make from alu flat bar. I used my stock ones for the inside profile and drew the outside to what I wanted. Drill press, bandsaw, file, and less than 3 hours including layout.

Sportcyclepacific no longer has these guards, I tried to get a set but evidently they arn't going to run any more of them. I did however find the same guard in aluminum finish at a very fine price and they look great on the RC.

I have got a set on my champaign lemans from paulimoto racing that I picked up from myers ducati I think there made by some guys out west, but the cool thing that I really liked is that they are red inodized and match the other red anodizing on the bike and look much better than the stock silver.

Alt.Guzzi, do have a pic? Definately would like some red anodized guards for the Scura.

After getting the rossopuro ones , all others seem to me as a waste of money at least in terms of protection.

Worth every cent.post-1677-1171240082_thumb.jpg

Kinda looks like a roller skate, but I bet it works good. Just as long as you don't go down so hard you snap the bolts. But I guess that is what crash bars are for. (heavier and maybe not so nice looking, although I don't mind them)

I'd like to install the crash bars for the V11 because I'd also like to mount some stuff to it, like horns or maybe decorative flags like those Harley guys.

I think a nice thing about the design is that if the bolts bend or snap, the skate wheel should lie between the valve cover and road, protecting the fins.

Presumably the wheel will also have more impact absorbing capabilities than billet aluminum.
