Hey Mike, I'll ride over to Alice's with you. It would be nice to check out your new Rosso. I can meet up with you somewhere along the way since I'll be coming down I-80 from Benicia. :drink:

Marcial,

I will email Doc Wong to see what time he wants to meet for dinner. I will let you know on a place to meet up at. Hey Al, get your bike together so we can cruise up to Alice's for dinner. Believe me, I take it easy in the dark! 40 something eyes are a pain in the a*&$^&%! :(

...we'll see, I'd certainly like to go ^_^

However, my valve-covers are at the powder-coaters, but that shouldn't be a big deal as they should be done by Friday/Monday. The pseudo big deal is that I don't have a front fender(not the end of the world) and the bigger deal is that I am waiting to hear back from Jet-Hot regarding the small defects I found in the finish, and I don't think I should install and burn them in before I hear back from them :huh2:

Other than the exhaust, everything else can be overlooked or worked around for a quick trip up there... we'll see.

OK,

The Doc Wong dinner at Alice's is at 7:15 PM on Monday the 10th. Since the weather has been cold and wet and windy the last few days, lets wait to make plans a couple of days away from the 10th. We would have to meet around 5:30 to 6:00 and I am not sure how much traffic we will hit going across the San Mateo Bridge. At least we can use the commuter lane and get free passage over the bridge. It would be fun to get a group together on this side of the bay for the ride over.

I don't know who all is planning to go, but if I do go I know it won't be on a bike by this Tuesday  I'm still waiting on a part or two to get the bike back together(although technically I could ride it without a fender :P ) ... but more importantly I've had some flu-like thing this whole weekend and late last week... so any plans I had of putting the bike back together this last weekend went out the window, and I don't think I plan to bottle my head up in a helmet right now

I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow afternoon, and if I feel well by then I might truck it up to Alices just to meet everyone, but it's pretty much a certainty I won't be up there on my bike :(

Hope to see some folks there if possible though! ^_^

Nobody is going to ding you if you drive over Mike. If it's wet and dangerous, you do the safe thing so you can ride later. We're going to drive over from Modesto. A lack of riding gear will probably mean we'll sit in the back and try not to look like poseurs...
