ScuRoo
Just so happens last Friday I was skanking along to some of The Specials songs being played by a Ska band Today I hear the sad news about Terry Hall 19 March 1959 - 18 December 2022 R.I.P. I see a clinic full of cynicsWho want to twist the peoples' wristThey're watching every move we makeWe're all included on their listThe lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylum“Go nuclear” the cowboy told us And who am I to disagree'Cos when the madman flips the switchThe nuclear will go for me The lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylumI've seen the faces of starvationBut i just cannot see the point'Cos there's so much food here todayThat no one wants to take awayThe lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my right to chooseThe lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my point of viewThe lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my dignityTake these things away from meThe lunatics have taken over the asylumThe lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my familyTake away the right to speakThe lunatics have taken over the asylum take away my point of viewTake away my right to choose 1 Link to comment
LowRyter
I asked about internet radio a while back. I found a really good station in Oregon KJIV. K Jive. Plays a lot of variety that seems to flow here. A community non profit. Also listening the Aardvark recommended here. Tunein has Rockin Rhythm and Blues Radio. They also GDRADIO (Grateful Dead). So if you're into internet radio, please share. For sure check out K Jive. Link to comment
paulnaz
I walk every morning for about two hours and my go to internet radio is Undercurrents. Community radio, no commercials and a great selection of all types of artists. UnderCurrents Radio Paul B 1 Link to comment

Speedfrog
I’m a Jazzhead and I pretty much have the dial pinned in the truck, at the shop or at home to our local, listener supported, Jazz station KCSM, one of the last 24/7 jazz radio in the country. Curated by a great cast of hosts, they not only offer a good mix of classic and current jazz artists but also R&B, Latin Jazz and Blues programming. On the net: https://kcsm.org/ Or thru their app: Jazz91 KCSM-FM Link to comment
LowRyter
@speedfrog , KNKX is 24/7 jazz out of Seattle. That was the first station I've saved. I'll check out @paulnaz going to check out undercurrents. Native Voices ... Oh I am familiar with it. I've heard it on Southern Okla, I think Chickasaws have it on the radio. Thanks guys! 2 Link to comment

docc
Somedays, this place reminds me of an old oyster bar my buddy and I used to hit up after closing down the restaurant/bar we worked at on The Gulf Coast. Somehow, the old guard just let us sit at the bar and sing along to David Allan Coe, "Pissed me off " . . . It was our theme song in those struggly days . . . 1 1 Link to comment
