You are right. That means I might have to rely on my gut feeling in this case. That is unless someone will clarify his/her experience on this topic.

I've done this job several times, simply relying on feel for that torque value. All you need is enough tension to stop the pin from backing out.

"Snug" to "tight" .  This is tight enugh to not come loose.
