Trail braking

I agree- and i've noticed quite some difference depending on the tyres fitted too. I'm liking the Pirelli gt's currently on, they feel very neutral. The st's were definitely better thru the front but wore so quickly...

 

The engine braking on the v11 is fierce! I tend to use it to 'set the speed' for cornering when riding quickly thru the bends- if i'm using the brakes to adjust my speed it's usually due to mis-reading the corner. I find there is just too much weight in the bike to take any chances. My old honda rs250a on the other hand...!
