@Lucky Phil if you're not dead set on off-loading yours, I'll get one from Scud if it goes through. If you want to get rid of yours, you put your hand up first, but I think it is a good thing if a couple are "in stock" in the southern hemisphere.

@Scud can you remember what the total cost, including shipping and so on, was to Europe? The bloke in question needs to know that to continue negotiations in the domestic context.

Another thing, if you have a lot left, I might consider taking a couple extra, just in case someone else over her wants one.

For anyone in Europe: I had Scud send me some springs, because sending them internationally and individually is a pain for him. So if anyone in Europe wants one, feel free to get in touch with me. Within Germany, one will cost €14,- . That covers my costs to get them here, and postage to the recipient. For other European countries it might be a little bit more, but not much more, I think.

Just totted up how many takers. Turned out to be exactly as many as I have springs here, so I've got none left over now.

If I decide to get some more in, I'll get in touch with @Scud directly, assuming there are still more available.

EDIT: looks like I will be getting in touch. I had missed a couple in the first add-up, so I need some more.

I had an interesting moment this evening. A bloke from the German forum got in touch wanting a spring. He noticed that I am in Leipzig, and mentioned that his family was coming to the Opera in Leipzig this evening to watch the ballet "The Nutcracker". I work in the opera, and am at work tonight (yes, I'm in the forum whilst at work. We don't have much to do in this show...)

So...

I met the bloke in the entrance hall of the opera for a quick chat and a bit of Guzzi parts dealing before the show. 

 

PS: the first packet is, as already mentioned, all gone, but there is another packet on the way. So, once again, if anyone in Europe wants a spring, feel free to get in touch.

Yes, indeed. The feeling of covert activity was only slightly reduced by the fact that he had a short-haired Dachshund wearing an overcoat on the lead. Or perhaps that was just to divert suspicion....

a quick up-date: out of the second batch, I've now only got two springs that are not spoken for.

That means I've passed on 23 since the start of December. And I was worried I wouldn't get rid of any of them...
