Throttle cable slack removal

Early and later differ slightly. At one time, the Moto Guzzi parts system had the part number wrong for the early (1999-2001) V11 and you would receive the later (bent tube) cable. Its adjuster is obvious:

On earlier V11, the connection is straight and you pull back the rubber boot to expose the cable adjuster/ lock ring.

Mine shows alot of slack taken up. I like my throttle tight. Like the shortcut thru Nayook to Noojee  . . .

Also, take time to inspect the cable exit to the bell crank. An angle like this will eventually fray the cable:

Angle the bracket for a straight shot:

How do you adjust the throttle slack on the V11. I don't see an adjuster on the cable like on other bikes?

Sorry about all the noise I made @red lion . . .
