these guys fit?

They may not match up exactly perfect. I ordered one and will report back. I may have to shave a millimeter off, I have no problem with that.

As I recall, lower pegs for a Buell fit with minor adjustments. If you search this forum you will find that lower pegs have been fairly well discussed and covered.

Any feedback prior to my ordering?

Are you sure? It all depends on what you like…

Riding is rather boring if it wasn’t for curves imo

Grounding side of boot still makes me jump mid corner & breaks concentration of the moment

If given choice of dropping or lifting pegs half an inch - I’d actually choose ⬆️ now

Leave ‘em where they are - the position seems more comfortable with more miles

Occasionally extend out your outside leg on a curve to give your muscles & tendons a stretch & little pump of the blood flow - it’s all good

Not all fiddling ends up worthwhile

Just sayin’…

I read many with the Buell peg mod, changed it back, as it wasn't comfortable. The ones I just ordered are so adjustable, I'm sure I can get them just right.

If you are sure you can get them just right, do it. I don't think lowered pegs are that big of a critical issue. For me I don't see a reason to go with lowered pegs, and that is including the fact that my knees are pretty F'd up. The difference between the pegs as they are and the "lowered" pegs is minor. I can't see where having my feet an inch lower would make any difference. And being able to adjust them is also minor. The amount of adjustability in them is very limited. The difference in lost ground clearance is going to be larger than the difference in comfort. But if it is something you want, and you feel those chinese pegs will allow you to get it just right, do it. Personally my motorcycles are my babies, and I avoid putting cheap parts on them. If I am going to upgrade them I do it with high quality parts. I don't try to pinch pennies when it comes to my motorcycles. If I do need an upgraded part, I buy the best quality I can find.

Also, having a metal peg with a rubber insert like that seems silly. If the rubber insert isn't covering the metal peg there is no point to it as the vibrations would come through the metal to boot contact. Either have rubber covered pegs or have metal pegs. That half and half idea doesn't make sense to me. But you do you.

I received two styles of pegs, ended up installing the non-lowered rubber padded style. Bolted on, no mods needed. These are the identical ones I've been running on my V7 for years.

As for the lowered style, these are impressive quality, so well precision machined. As stated earlier in the thread, they need to be shaved just a tad to fit into our mounts. I chose not to use them as they didn't lower teh peg enough to make much of a difference. My guess is about an inch at most. To do any good, it would seem I'd need twice that amount, but then I'm shortening my cornering clearance.

So instead, I'm going to use them for my pillion pegs. They will be perfect for lowering and moving forward these pegs, much more comfortable for the wife!

That's an interesting idea. I might be in form something like that myself. My girlfriend is not very tall, and might be able to deal with the standard pillion pegs. Another friend of ours who quite regularly sits on the back is around 176 cm. tall, very similar to myself. I'll be very interested to hear what she has to say about the back seat. Might need something in that direction for her... :)

Regarding the Buell pegs, below are the relevant part numbers and a few photos for reference. One will need the Buell pegs and springs.

One will also need to modify a bushing to reduce the hole in the Buell pegs to allow use of the Moto Guzzi 6mm pin.  I forget what the outside diameter of the bushing required is, but it is easy enough to measure the hole in the Buell peg or the Buell pin if one gets a pair of these pegs.  As I recall, tubing/bushings in the ID and OD size required are common and just need to be cut/ground to length.

Although pegs like these only drop the position about an inch, many owners have seemed to like this minor adjustment.

In my case I did not like pegs like these as they actually made the riding position worse in a different way.  Although I did like that they dropped the height a bit, they pushed my feet out away from the bike also about an inch and amplified the already pigeon-toed effect of reaching the shifter and brake pedal.  Although I didn't realize it at first, I had been riding the stock pegs with my feet all the way up onto the bracket, against the "porchop"/sideplate, which these style of dropped pegs didn't allow me to do anymore.  I tried extending the actual nub on the brake and shifter lever, but I couldn't do so enough to overcome the issue.  So I ultimately abandoned using the Buell pegs.

Another similar option are the lowered pegs by Knight Design, which appear to be very well made, and no adapter bushing is needed such as with the Buell:
