Peter Krauss
Hi all, This is my first post on here and I'm hoping the more knowledgeable can help. I have a new for me V11 Cafe Sport 2004 which has been running very rich. The sparkplugs were very black. I changed the plugs & tested the ETS which seemed to be working ok. While looking at the Lambda sensor wiring, I came upon this little plastic box which is connected between the Lambda sensor and the ECU. It's about 1"x2" and has a green LED. There are no labels or writing on it. What is this thing? Maybe a signal conditioner? Thanks, Pete in Sydney, Australia
pete roper
@#!#$# it off immediately. Tune the bike properly and if needs be remap it but those things, sold under a variety of names, are poison as you have found out.
gstallons
Yeaahhh , take this thing out of circuit . Then start over. #1 throttle body balance #2 TPS adjustment #3 contact anyone "down there" who can help you set this bike up . You really need to be good electrically , mechanically and have pretty tough skin . When you get this bike set-up properly , you will love it .
