Admin Jaap Posted January 31 Posted January 31 The forum software will get a major update sometime this year. With that new software it's no longer possible to log in with your display name. You HAVE to use the emailaddress you have registered with. So please look up that emailaddress in your account settings and write it down for future reference. WRT the deadline: It's not sure when I will do thisupgrade, but using your emailaddress to log in is already possible and commendable. Cheers, Jaap 3 4

PhillipLarsen Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Same for me. Multiple tries, double checked in the forum info to make sure I had it exactly correct and doesn’t work using my email address and password.
p6x Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I never log into my account. I am not even sure I remember my password... I am not going to try to use my email address, as I may not be able to log back...
Admin Jaap Posted Monday at 12:20 PM Author Posted Monday at 12:20 PM Sorry for the inconvenience! I forgot to change yet another setting. It should work now. 2

audiomick Posted Monday at 05:48 PM Posted Monday at 05:48 PM @p6x if you can't remember your password, you can use the "forgot your password" link on the login popup. I dare say it wants to see the e-mail address that you used to register here. Failing that, I you ask nicely, I dare say that Jaap could set a new password for you and send it to you via e-mail. Forum administators can generally do that without a problem, at least in the forum software that I know. 1
Admin Jaap Posted Friday at 11:38 AM Author Posted Friday at 11:38 AM You can check the email-address you have registered with. If it's not up to date, please change it. You can also change your password there. 1. Go to your profile 2. Click on account settings 3. Check your email address and change it if needed. Same goes for password. 2
PhillipLarsen Posted Friday at 05:42 PM Posted Friday at 05:42 PM Thanks Jaap, my sign in using email address works now.
