I am hoping to convert a Centauro into a Daytona . Here are some things I am missing.

Good luck with the Daytona or 1100ie Sport tank. They are pretty rare and if you do find one it won't be cheap.

@HadaDaytona

I have a yellow 1997 1100 sport tank in my stash. I'll dig it out tomorrow and take pictures. I bought it years ago thinking along the same lines. Then I bought a Centy last year and really like it!

Two Centauro’s came up for sale last year in my Michigan as project bikes. I was crazy enough to buy both. Having had a 1993 Daytona that I still miss I have been considering turning one into a Daytona RS. Finding parts is challenging.

There are some deep scratches at the back of the tank, and the seat covers that on my RS. I don't think this tank ever had fuel in it. No Dents.

Why you just buy the Daytona listed on Craiglist. No muss no fuss it might even have the c-kitted camshaft. Then we'll have to HavaDaytona instead of HadaDaytona.

One would hope not.

Turin shoot me a price. I’m not in the market for a used Daytona. I already own my Centauro and have started buying parts around the globe to build a bike. I’ve found two tanks for sale for more than I’m willing to spend so far. (One in Italy has been for sale since February 2025)  Colors won’t match so a paint job will be in order $$ with new stickers.

I'd never sell my 'Tona. My ashes will be poures into the crankcase. Anyway, A facetime or phone zoom might be a good idea so you can see the tank in real time.

I tried to message you... I'm doing something wrong. You on wildguzzi?

I bought it for $750.00 years ago. I'd like to get my money back. I'll check on shipping to 49125.
