Daytona vs 1100 Sport Fuel Tank

I’m still in the dream stage of converting my Centauro project bike into a Daytona. The fuel tank purchase so far has not happened due to price and availability. My question is … can any Daytona or carbureted 1100 Sport tank work on my 1998 fuel injected Centauro ? They seem to look the same.???

Harpers Moto Guzzi also has spare parts diagrams on their web site. I think the only potential differences with the tanks are the bungs on the bottom. I believe the 1100 sport has two BAP style petcocks vs the later injected bikes having a single petcock feeding a Bosch fuel pump.

The injected tank still needs two fittings. One for the pump feed and one for the regulator/fuel return.
