I have 3 guzzis being waved at me from local guys I'm pals with.

1 - Rosso mandello with 5k miles. It's been sitting for years. I have an early RAM clutch assembly in my stash, so i'm not worried about the possible splodin flywheel. Possible oil leaks are a concern due to the sitting. 5K? ( I already own 2 hi-cam spine frames Don't a need it but it's sexy. )

2 - 2013 Stelvio 30K miles. no cam issues 2013 and later. It's got an updated clutch, carc was greased, agostini pipe, updated driving lights, etc. I don't like orangey copper color, and Stelvio's aren't pretty. One heck of a machine though. .. buy and ride. 6K. Quota meets Griso 1200... I'm leaning in this direction

3 - 2007 griso with 15K miles that has been fully farkled including a fancy paint job. You know the sportbike guy who customizes by catalogue and buys every billet bit available?... that's this bike.  I'll need to track down an airbox cover, as this has one of those goofy frames that holds the K&N in place/no cover. Even so, it's really nice.  $3.2K

dude..., and there's one more. I have issues and it's locally known. It's like waving a bag of chips in front of a fat kid.

1982 GTV6. I bought it at the end of 2006 from another wildguzzi board member. It was cheap and I spent a long time getting it going. still not done. It's running a 3.0 out of a Milano Verde.

I'm with @docc e: all of the above.

There's room for a couple more in that garage without having to stack them up. B)

PS: when that Alfa was current, I was 18 and had a fresh driver's license.

Yes, I did want one... ;)

So Turin, when you plug in your battery tender do the lights in the neighborhood flicker on and off? That's quite a collection of bikes you have there.

As Nick Bolton says on those campy Tac Glasses commercials, "There's nothing like them on the market today".

Pic of the artwork known as the engine!

Your Spineys are both five speeds. That makes the RM a different enough proposition to be worth buying but there again you say it needs a fair bit of work?

The Griso is a nice thing but why not buy an 8V? 20 more RWHP and they are cheap as chips at the moment. It’ll need work too but only simple stuff. Just buy a 2013 on model.

Of the three the Stelvio would seem to be the pick of the bunch to me. Just check all the things I have listed elsewhere a thousand times and check the throttlebodies are unmolested prior to purchase.

@activpop don't be. I also don't find Stelvios at all pretty, but I know that it is an "eye of the beholder" thing.

I know several Stelvio owners, very upstanding people, who are very fond of their Stelvios. To each his own.  ;)

In fact, I find anything along the chook chaser line pretty ugly, and also anything created by a designer that has a fable for Transformer movies. But that is just me. :huh2:

No, he wrote that it has been sitting for ages, and might need work. Bugger all miles on it. The problems could only be aged rubber bits and seals.

I've got a Breva 750 like that. Bought it 20 years old, and less than 10,000 km on the clock. I tipped into the gearbox and motor oil one of those products that promises to put the plasticisers back into the rubber seals. Up till now, it has worked. Something is sweating a bit into the clutch housing, but otherwise everything is fine. :huh2:

EDIT: having said that, the breather tube that runs from the frame just behind the steering head down to the back of the motor will probably need replacing. Otherwise, I would just suck it and see. B)
