Love your 02 burgundy Sport

Can’t wait to get mine out in a few weeks time when spring is here. Mines been hibernating in the garage since November :(

I’m always envious of those living in warmer climates who can ride all year

Right? Makes one pine for "some pics from the roads down under " . . .

(Something without an exploded view of a clutch and gearbox, if you please. Perhaps a wee "short-cut thru Nayook to Noojee " . . . . )

How do you reckon I feel? It's cold, windy and wet here, I've got a V11 Le Mans that I have hardly ridden, and the last time I was in Australia was in 2016. :(

Mate

It's anything but Summer down here at the moment...

13 degrees rain and windy which makes it worse, we've even got the fire going...

Probably be 30 degrees again in a day or so though....Nuts!

Instead of tiptoeing along a wet and slippery road to Noojee,I'm afraid I'm hobbling round the house with what I suspect is a touch of Gout....Arghhh!

The ole man's had it since his forties and my younger brother has it too so it's not looking good, so it's off to the Quack's next week!

The upside of it is that it's the left side of my left foot so would still be able to change up and down, so don't rule out another dalliance with Nooj and Nayook just yet...!

Cheers Guzzler

...a wet and slippery road to Noojee,

I know that road. A mate of mine's father lived up there. That was back in the late '80's. A few of us went up there from Melbourne a couple of times.

Doing the run in a Suzuki Sierra (belonged to my brother) was a distinct advantage... :)

Yep, some bloody good riding round these parts.

It's a pity that some of the roads are in need of maintenance but still good fun though!

Cheers

Ps We had a Suzuki Grand Vitara (full time 4 wheel drive) for a few years and yep the grip was good and modern bike tyres are great in the wet these days, but still need your wits about you all the same eh.

Cobram ,that's not a bad spot either mate...

You're right about Gippy being green.

We find it stays green much longer than any other spot in Victoria.

Ha ha due to the amount of rain as mentioned!

After 30 years in Melbourne we couldn't wait to get outa the rat race and Gippy always had a pull. We're an hour from the snow an hour from the beach and an hour to the city. The only reason we go in there is to see the kids and grandkids and the odd time I have to go to the office in Dandenong Sth.

Love it here.

Cheers

Alright, she doesn't just live on that dais with the footlights . . .

I love these old train stations. Makes me feel kind of bold and enduring to be stopping by with a rare locomotive on the route . . .
