Ram Mount.
Eventually Ill have to contribute something to this very helpful group. But today is not that day.
Soooo, I would like a ram mount installed in the center of my Triple Clamp. I did a search of the site and spoke to Scud, Big Thanks. I peered onto the Stein Dinse page to look at the exact two pieces that would likely need removing for it to work with the style of Ramp Plug I would like to use. But, they wouldnt budge. Maybe they are tight, or maybe they wont budge for a reason. Is there anyt
So now that I'm home I got a chance to try the stem mount. I didn't have as much luck as JRD. I'll photo document so that other people can see what I did.
Slipping a razor under the cap. Once it lifted a little I went to a straight blade screwdriver. It's a round plug in a hex hole. No twisting needed.
So following JRD I used a short piece of vacuum line. Just the right size to fit in the hole. Note that the included nut is JUST the right size to fit the hex. Also don't lo
