if this is the wirediagram of a V11, can anybody explane why if i have blinkers running lights (so they need no relais), and i replace the controle light with a LED (1,3 M Ohm), all blinkers (L+R) start blinking when ever i activate L of R. (the relais is replaced by a wire). Thanks for al idea’s.

01' Guzzi V11 Ignition Coils Melting (Earthing Issues?)

So i've got a doozy We have here a 2001 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport (40 000klms) running on one cylinder. It originally melted its right side ignition coil and blew a fuse. Myself and the local mechanic thought we had diagnosed our V11 sport and so we've replaced the ignition coil, we ran the bike on both cylinders for about 5 mins at 1500rpm and FZZZZT (smoke emerges) so now we've melted another, our local mechanic has looked through the bike and believed it is now an earthing issue due to faulty wiring. The Idea was that Voltage was going into the Coil, and not enough was earthing, Thus o -
Hi, I have a -02 V11, LeMans, my problem is that when I activate the high beam the instrument light goes out. Otherwise with low beam on, they works fine. The city light is out as well and I have changed the bulb with no luck. These faults have been present since I bought the bike, everything else seems to work fine. Is there anyone out there, who recognize these faults?? Could it be the headlight switch, a relay, short circuit or what, the circuit diagram just confuses me....... Every information of where to start the troubleshooting welcome :-)
