"Runs well" is a relative thing. I run Meinolf's map and recommend settings and it rocks. From my understanding this map was developed with multiple V11 riders all over the place and all kinds of setups. I was worried at first that the fueling would be too much, but it's great. Ends of the cans are a light chocolate brown, bike pulls hard. Stock airbox with snorkels removed.
Whilst I have not had it on a dyno yet, in the real world of rolling acceleration it's more than a second faster in all acceleration ranges than stock. Dyno numbers are only good for relative tuning on 1 bike on 1 day only. They are for reference only.
If you like induction sound, there is no beating pods. There is a lot of psychological speed in sound anyways...

With the exception of the lambda ports, is there any other fitment difference between the Mistral crossovers? I have a non-lambda bike and MG cycle only has lambda versions left.

Slid off the aluminum can, cut the entire core out, except about 1/2" of the very front. This gave me a flange to river to and about 3/4" of pipe left. Made my own core out of woven stainless for better sound absorption. Used the beauty cover on the back as the rear locator for the core and riveted it on. Doesn't have the fancy SS river beauty ring like a Mistral aluminum muffler, but looks correct. Sounds awesome, fully serviceable.

Wear in the bar ends that connect the throttle bodies? Especially since it's more pronounced while transitioning off of high vacuum situations.

My 2002 V11 LeMans with twin spark heads + 10,8:1 compression + ECU 15M via TunerPro modified and only for dyno test three exhaust variants:
1.Dark green - original crossover + opened standart cans
2.Red - Mistral crossover + Guzzi titanium racing cans
3.Light green - Stucchi crossover + opened standart cans
Can you please give more detail about the "open standart cans"?

That's correct. Doesn't matter if he's sure, mistakes happen. It's needs to come apart. Takes 5 minutes to pull the rear wheel.

The inner spacer that goes between the splines and rear drive is missing. Easy thing to drop.

Redline engine oil is one of the highest ZDDP content oils out there. Recommended by all race engine builders I've dealt with. They have a motorcycle and standard synthetic version. Real stuff, not mobile 1.
