  1. Yes Pete I have  a good YTX-20 battery installed less than a year ago and kept on  maint charger.  I know electrons on this bike are unusually finicky.  I have checked with running at idle and high rpm and off voltage.  Although Vroomhilda never shows more than 13.2 running when the digital voltage meter always shows more.  Somewhere in the snaggle of wiring there is a drop in voltage from age I would imagine and other assorted fuckery.

  2. I just want a back up Starter L5A  Relay just in case -  as I just lat week had to replace the Auxiliary 4 pin Horn relay & fuse the previous owner installed for both the yellow wire and fused connection to the battery, and the same relay is also using the horn.   Along with the back up L5A relay I believe after spending far too long reading and researching this woe beset upon by most CARC owners, I am going to install an easy to reach Solenoid to automotive button to battery+  bypassing all the spaghetti wiring, ecm, and relays as a defensiveback up emergency starter.    Thanks for leaning in Pete & Docc and everyone else.  Yes I will order from MPH or AF1 for the back up relay just in case.

What version of GuzziDiag for MacOS?

    What version of Catalina?

I am wondering if the split screen that was added, which allows you to have two windows juxtaposed side by side is not messing up with GuzziDiag. The "Green" button in the upper left corner of the window is missing on the GuzziDiag window. The one that says "Full screen" "split left" split right".

    I am running V0.60  * OS 10.13.6

  4. Or for rear suspension replace stock shock spring with an Eibach rear shock spring  like on mine + reworked front fork Matris suspension kit makes it a wholly different bike as it is on my 07 Norge.  Then reset the SAG.

  5. Really does make a difference.   Recent purchase of my 48,000 Mi 07 Norge and while I love it and it reminds me of riding in the 1970's bike, it felt kinda raw and in a torquey tractor way, powerful.

Finally got around to having decent 40ish degree F sunny weather to get into the garage to do my first CARC Throttle body balance and TPS reset using new tools on Hi Ho Silver w/48,000 Miles.   With my new Carbtune in hand and Guzzidiag connected I got'er done.  S M O O T H... even as it was not that far out of compliance and pretty easy to do now in the rear view mirror.  Would have been very challenging to  accomplish it without A LOT of reading, some new tools and guiding insight from some very helpful individuals who write directions quite well. Something very difficult to do.

  6. It's true about changing out the fluid.  My 07 Norge clutch was working fine but too close to end of lever for my comfort to feather it.   Flushing and filling with new Dot 4 brought back "Crisper" feed back..  Helped.    I love the sound of the dry clutch rattle when I pull in the lever.

  7. Posting this as I have read about other Guzzista's have issues with loading the software onto a  vintage Macbook running OS High Sierra or OS10.13 and following the very excellent Beetle directions used Reader V28x64 and Writer VO24. I was able to save my original map and reset the TPS from 5.0 to 4.6.  I had no choice of what to set it at, just pushed the start button in the menu.  It took a lot of battery power from the Norge being on but not running for 15 minutes downloading the original map.  I had another stand alone battery plugged into the ECM and now I know why it is recommended.  You don't want to lose connection in the middle of the procedure for obvious reasons.  After resetting the TPS It started up and seem to run S M O O T H E R and idle now then with the out of spec 5.0 setting. When it stops raining I'll take it for a spin.
