    All prices include shipping.

    1) Spine frame stand in black. Great shape. $150

    2) SW Motech engage sport tank bag shown in this thread starting with post # 3. http://www.v11lemans...opic=12820&st=0

Buyer will have to buy a new ring that attaches to the tank from Twisted throttle. I think it's like $30.

The bag has suffered a little damage when the bike was totaled in a wreck.

  2. A bit unsure about the combination of anglular signal and the fairing lines.

Perhaps Diesel could try this out for us? Please? (They'd look great on a grey bike)

But I like the one's I have on there now.

Plus looking at them in the pic, I don't think they'd mesh well with the fairing like you've mentioned.

  3. Diesel,

    Very nice!

I think I will have to get me a set of those in red!

How was ordering from Rossopuro, customs, delivery time?

    Thanks

    Thanks!

You should have no worries ordering from Rossopuro.

They are very easy to deal with, and Paolo speaks excellent english.

If there are any troubles, I'm certain Paolo will get them resolved.

They were shipped Fed-Ex...... and they dropped the ball and initially had them shipped to Ca instead of Ky where I live.

But I got ahold of FedEx and got them turned around.

Shortly after leaving Europe, you can expect a call form customs or the like requiring you to fill out some sort of form. It is required, and I was able to finish the whole process via email after the initial call.

  4. Yes, they dooooo look that good. Were they that much? How or what did you do to strip down the license plate bracket?

What other goodies are on there?

I paid 1900 Euro back when the dollar was a little stronger.

The license plate bracket is a fender eliminator from Rossopuro.....it is the latest version of their double cat-eye fender eliminator

Just by looking you are single and or a www.millionaire!!!!!!!

Single, no divorces, no kids, good job, paid the house off a few years ago.

  5. Quite lovely Diesel. How do the spoke wheels compare with the stockers on weight & handling?

    Thanks!

I don't think there is any significant weight savings, if any.

I had the stock crappy BT020's on the stock wheels.

Mounted Diablos on the Alpinas, and the bike is transformed. Soooooooo much more flickable and lighter feeling. :bike:

From what I've read, the diablos alone can do that for the V11's.

I can't honestly say the wheels have done anything or performance/handling, weight savings.

I bought them mainly as a cosmetic mod anyway........expensive, yes, but they just make the bike. I'm very happy with them.

  6. Nice bag but why would they block the map window with that gray stripe? Not an issue if you never use the map window I guess...

The pic is deceiving.......the map pocket is on top of the gray stripe. There is no interference as the map rests on top of it.

  7. I am looking for a tank bag solution for my '03 LM also, and appreciate the pictures. I did have a few questions. I like the bag you chose and it looks like it fits well, did you try any of the other Engage bags on the bike to see how they would fit?

No I didn't. From what I could see, everything else was either too small for my needs or too big to fit or look right on the bike IMO.

Also, from your pictures, it looks like you have some choices, fore and aft, where you mount the bracket to the bag, and it looks like you have yours so the bag is all the way forward. Would it also work to have the bag back just a little?

    Thanks.

    Tim

Yes, it would work just fine mounted an inch or 2 back.

  8. The bag does actually touch the paint, but the bottom has a silky type material covering it that doesn't hurt the tanks finish.

I think this particular bag fits the LeMans perfectly. No straps, on/off in seconds, and no harm to the tanks finish.

    A few pic's

  9. +1 for all the replys above.

I too have a GS-Adv and just added a 03 LeMans after selling my FJR.

Had V11 LeMans in the past. I missed it and got another.

If I had to choose between the 2 bikes, I'd take the beemer becasue I need something comfy, practicle and utilitairian for everyday use.

All depends on what you want to do.

What else is in your stable?

  10. I took delivery of my 03 LeMans today. :bike::mg::race::)

It was a left-over with only 8 miles on it.

Upon returning from it's maiden voyage this evening, I noticed it was difficult to shift into 3rd.

Problem does not improve as I continue towards the house. Hmmm......is the spring getting ready to break?

Once I turn onto my street i start rowing throught the gears to see whats going on.

Pull into my drive, put it in 1st, pull up to the garage and go to put it in neutral but can't becasue I'm stuck in 1st gear.

    47 miles

I'm actually glad it happened.....and I couldn't ask for it to happen in a better place.

Now I know I have a spring boss thats too big so now I won't have to investigate to see if it's too big.

Edit: Well I was able to eventualy get it into neutral eventually after yanking on the lever with my arm, but the shifting problems came back after another ride. Opend up the gear box and found everthing is seemingly fine....measured the infamous spring boss and it's 14.909mm, spring doesn't bind. :huh2:

Guess I'll play with that adjustment screw under the achorn nut right beside the selector lever. :luigi:

  11. Well, most of you probably never knew I was here before.

I had a 03 LeMans that I sold in late 05.....I thought my newly aquired FJR would satisfy all my desires and let the LeMans go.

Well, I've found a BMW GS-Adv satisfies my touring needs better and the FJR is gone.

I missed my LeMans and I just sealed the deal for a left over, never used 03 LeMans at Moto International.

It'll be here maybe as early as the end of next week. :bike::)
