    Beauchemin,

exhaust was bought at HTM Germany which also upgrade my engine

    http://www.htmoto.de/

Nice guy (Harmut), and speak English, he also made a tremendous

GT which is gorgeous, it's a oneman shop so lot of patient is required !

  2. I'm sure this won't be of too much interest, compared to some of these beauties, but here, if the buttons work, is my more or less standard 750S3, much loved and much used, usually at near V11 pace!

  3. Andre - thanks for sharing your bike photo.  It is one of the most tastefully-done specials I have seen.  Where is the tank from?

    67530[/snapback]

the tank is aluminium which I bough few year ago in Scotland at

    http://www.thetankshop.com/

very nice guy to deal with, he got even more guzzi products in ally

I also bough the seat, but at the end I didnt put it on my bike 'coz it was

to high for me and would have break the general line of the bike.

    Cheers

  4. I think I see a HTM roadster under all that shiny paint. I have questions;

What are the rim sizes on your lovely bike? :food:

And what tire sizes do you run?

    Ben hi,

Actually the engine isnt paint at all it's being glass blasted and after

that dipped with acid to obtain that whitedish color

regarding the rims in front got a 17 inch with 120

and rear is a 18 inch with 160 both Bridgestone bt14 (same as on

    a Suzuki gsxr 750)

  5. MacGuzzi,

holly macaroni, that garage is too crowdy! what about some pix from that

nice s3 and what about that LM mkI pix ? I may consider a small trip in

wiskyland if by any chance you get rid s3

    were nice bikes congrats !

  6. Baldini Hi,

Again out of town for a few days in Paris ! :D

Indeed it's a pair of HTM muffler and same for the footrest.

Break discs are from Spiegler (german aswell) and the Brembo oro

    -usual italian stuff-

originally the Guzz was a T3, on which a pair of LM I/II head were

added with twinspark, barrel changed into 950cc 40 dellorto carbs

front wheel is 17'' and rear is 18''. Front fork is Marzocchi 38 dia

bough few year ago new at Stein Dinse, but I'm not too happy with

it and I'm now looking for something more "modern" inside with the

"old fashion" outside. tank for bough in Scotland (tankshop) other

bits duration the years in jumbles.

I have another project laying in my garage  (ducati 750 f1)

but since I drive this bike, I guess I will stop fiddling, and just enjoy

    the roads :bike:

I will put some more pictures this evening

    cheers

    André

  7. All

Was out of town for a few days so sorry couldnt reply before now !

yes I like it minimalist indeed -

JRT - the tank was bought at www.thetankshop.com some year ago

the first idea was to let the ally tank unpainted but I saw sooo

many Guzzi already in that configuration that I change my mine

the same for the saddle that I also bough from the same source

which was resold later to a friend

I'm still in the run in stage, and with 2k km on the clok it appears that the marzzochi is way too hard, so I dismantle it and I'm awaiting another pair of

springs and then fiddle with the oil thickness/volume to have working !

originally it was a T3 !! but put a pair of LM I heads with twinspark and

    40 dellorto carbs

    thank you vmuch

as I said earlier, is time for me now to settle down for a 2nd hand

V11 - preferably nera corsa - just fearing the behaviour of the

injection vs my carbs version which is a "living experience"

  9. Well gang, it took me ages walking in that dark tunnel of salvation, trying to reach the blur light at the end of it, but finally end up with this

    guzzifinal05200513at.jpg

then you could say, hey what the heck is this guy coming in this forum

dedicated to v11 ... well seven years ago when this project starts, v11

was just a fairy tale ... so when I saw the pictures in Magz of the V11 I

say to myself sh.. what I'm gonna do with the wreck laying in the barn !

but keep going - now the project is swallow and the wallet hum ...yes

the wallet is damn empty - I'm lurking (again) to a 2nd hand v11 that's

why I'm on in this forum to get the best info. possible for my next generation

of MG (maybe a nera corso).

    Ooh if necessary

I'm from rainy Belgium, driving the right side of the road, drinking gooood beer :bier: and no the brussels' sprouts isnt a speciality !

    cheers

    André
