  1. I know about the MyEcu, I've even witnessed it on a 1100i Sport Corsa and it did wonders!

But, my friend does not have the skill nor the time to fiddle with it (and MyEcu cheaper? PC is roughly US$350, right?)

The PC will be programmed locally by a guzzi specialist. (and there are maps on the Internet too, for quick test etc...)

  2. ok, here's the deal; My friend just bought a used 2001 V11 and he wants to add a PC. (He will probably add Mistral cans too)

the price of a PC is ridiculous in Europe, so I'm helping him to get one from the US, where the price seems more reasonable.

Question is Where do I order it from, and what model? Delivering is not a problem, I will order it to a US address and it will be brought to europe in a suitcase :-) (no taxes!)

Any help and pointers to online sellers etc. is much appreciated!

  3. I'll be there! If my ducati is willing to take me.. :-D Look for Finnish flags or signs/badges of the finnish Guzzi club, Gruppo Moto Guzzi Finlandia. There will be quite a few of us.

  4. Excellent Rally, thank you to all the organisers! the weather wes great during the whole trip, we didn't get nay rain at all.

A personal thank you also to the Denmark Club president(?) or someone else, can't remember the name. (it's on a paper somewhere..). I had problems with my starter on the way to the meeting, and I thought I had a dead battery and I send an SMS to Denmark, if I could get a new battery. When getting there, I removed my starter to discover it was broke, so I bought a new one fron the parts-guy, installed it and the bike worked perfectly. So, eventually, I did not need the battery that the Denmark club provided to me, but their willingness to help me earns them my sincere thanks!

I never got to meet the person face to face, so you can give my thanks to them.

  5. Hi,

I'm in a holiday mood, (flying to Chicago tomorrow morning :) so I'll suggest the following.

Check the kill switch on the handlebar?

I once tried and tried .. to start my bike but it did not start. I always kill the engine from the key and this time I had used the kill switch for some reason, and it was still in the wrong position. *duh*

  6. All right, that does it!! That's my next bike! (ok, not _that_, but similar..)

    *drool*

Ok, maybe bar-end mirrors, more simple intake; K&N's?

What has been done to the exhaust? I know thats the Quat-D or similar, but I mean the headers and their coating/painting?

  7. I know this Centauro (and the owner). The jackal is still under construction.

That is indeed a belt driven (roots?)supercharger. The throttle bodies are from a 998 ducati vith 4 injectors. If I remember correctly, the OEM weber Marelli controls 2, and another CPU controls the other 2 !!

The Centauro was driven last summer ~5000 km, as it was finished in august. The owner plans on driving much more this summer. If I remember correctly, the ODO reads approx 80,000kms.
