    Do this exercise..

    1) Price up all the Öhlins bits

    2) Add a little for Aprilia level QC

    3) Factory Titanium pipes

    4) A little extra for the paint scheme

    5) Numbers built - Rarity value

    6) Condition & mileage of the remaining usual shared componentry

    7) Sheene’s X factor to round it off - Desirability to Women

    ...And pays your money

ps. Guarantee whoever stole it for $7000 is laughing with delight!

And the owner is turning in his grave!!

  2. Chuck (and Scud), I don't believe this community is going to stand for either of you eating the cost of anything.  :oldgit:

Agree. Why not use the total cost for the two runs to calculate the final "retail" for the spring? Hell, we are getting free labor anyway  :notworthy:

  3. I think with so much mods will your engine never run good with stock map. From my experience make the under engine exhaust much good volumteric efficiency in mid-range rpm. You have let start TunerPro and create your own version, switch off oxygen sensor and add fuel duty up to 4000-4500 rpm. If you want, I have my own custom map for Ballabio with QD under engine exhaust/stock airbox made for my friend.

    Is that map still available?

First ride with fairing. It seemed noisier. It might be because I'm going faster with the fairing. There is definitely a huge reduction of wind on my chest.

Once I got some ear plugs in there was a lot less noise that what I recalled from when the fairing wasn't on.

    That fairing looks very nice!!!!

Yeah, the Greenie does too ;-) !!

  5. A couple systems that really benefit from frame grounds are the headlights and the horns. These are also the systems that benefit from a separate fused power feed to auxiliary relays . . .

I just added two relays to my EV's headlights and they are now visibly brighter. Would my '04 V11 benefit from the same setup or does it have a dedicated headlight relay already? TIA

  6. Not that bad

    Damn, I sound like I'm a Quat-D salesman...emoticon-0127-lipssealed.gif

This exhaust was on the bike when I got it. Since I also have the original and the Titanium set-up I actually removed this one and reinstalled the Titanium set. After a week I re-installed the Q-D. It sounds better and looks the part. Again, JMHO.
