  1.

Good news is the Tank Shop are able to fabricate the tank, seat units, panels and mudguards by early October.

    Guy :helmet:

Maybe you will have better luck because of where you are located...don't get me wrong, I am in no hurry and John seems like a great guy..but mine were scheduled to be fab'ed the week of May 28th...he says they are done now and I am waiting for him to call me and give me payment and shipping info.

    FWIW

  2. The rearsets are Tarozzi, picked up on Ebay and the bat is down under just in front on the rear wheel. I made a box and hung it from the centerstand mounts. There is a tray mounted inbetween the upper frame rails, under the seat which holds the fuse block, diode board, flasher etc. Plenty of room for an ecu and relay strip!

Thanks...hey, I am doing a photo shoot in Albany sometime in the next month or so at SUNY and a college in Troy...any chance of hooking up so I can get a better ook at your bike?

  3. Keep an open mind! ...I mean an open frame! :D

Wow Waspp! Nice bike...can I ask what rearsets those are?

You'll want to stay focused. Here's a project that went horribly wrong - and not for lack of money thrown at it. :(

    Ummm...wow! that is........different?

  4. ey Guy! Funny you brougt this up. I have a butt uly G5 sitting in my storage garage just waiting to come apart. John at The Tank Shop is nearly ready to ship me my tank, seat, side covers and fender. Same deal here...polished alloy everywhere for my bike...should be fun.

  5. The fast idle lever is on the left bar. The lever that moves up and down (some may call it a choke) increasing the idle when starting cold. Check that it is fully "up". Then go to the left side throttle body - in front and below you will see where the fast idle cable attaches (move the lever and you'll find it). With the lever fully up, loosen the cable clamp and make sure there is no tension in the cable when you do it back up.

If this does not help, it is time to set your TPS (throttle position sensor). Lots of threads on this.

    good luck!

Ahhh...yep, I call it the choke...will do, Thanks!

  6. That sounds kinda high to me.

I think mine probably idles around 800-900 RPM. I'll check tonight (have to cage it to work).

Is you fast idle lever pinned down?

Erm...where is the fast idle lever? Kinda new to this guzzi :)

  7. Does the tail light work ?

If not the tail light ground wire could have come off, I'd take the bodywork tailpiece off and check all the wiring connectors, it could also be a faulty resistor (I assume its 1 per lamp) or you've wired the RH indicator backwards (+ to -)

Ok, it looks like, coincidentally, the brake light burned out...so now I am just down to left rear not working (that would be my connection most likely) as for resistors, PJ's parts says 1 per side...usually. Thanks for the input...I'll post more when the demons return.

  8. I bought some Rizoma LED signals. http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_in...;products_id=48

Wired them up straight and all 4 stayed on continuously. SO I ordered the resistors http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=137

wired them in 3 flashed one did nothing, 2 flashed 1 had some of the LED's lit...got frustrated and buckled the rear under fender up tried them again and now the right side works great, left side front flashes, rear does nothing (could be my connection) but I now have no Brake light from either brake??????

    Any wisdom for me....please?!

  9. Thanks for the tips about Quat D. I will roll it around in my head for a while until I save enough money, unless a deal comes along I can't refuse. :D

I still think I like the Ghezzi-Brian one a bit more but I suppose the same effect is achieved. I'll look a bit harder but there seems to be some descripency among members as to the performance of the Quat D exhaust, some seem to say there is a loss in performace, while others adimently disagree. Time to do some research.

They are kind of hard to get ahold of...special order...then again, for a guzzi what isn't
