Testastretta is italian for testosterone, right?
congrats!
Yea the bike may too much as far as power NOT!!!
Thanks
-
Congratulations! Are you going for the new Testestretta engined verion? If so you will find the motor completely barking mad- perfectly rideable but if you give it some stick you will really feel the poke- about 130rwbhp if you remove cat, put some nice pipes on and less restrictive filter. Its a lot of power for a very short bike that weighs about 180kgs in standard trim.
Those brakes are awesome too- have fun, take it easy and enjoy your new toy!
Guy
Yes it is the new Testestretta engine. Thanks Guy!

Well I did it I bought a new bike and I am picking it up on Saturday. I could not make up my mide for the last 3-4 months on what to buy . It finaly came down to two bikes. The Griso and Monster S4R. Well I am picking up my new Ducati S4R this Saturday. If am going to keep my V11 I thought I should get something different and I have always wanted a Duc.
Cheers,
JJ

I could not make it last year but I will try to venture over the divide this summer.

If someone can convince Speed Channel that Daytona is a NASCAR race, we might get to see it. Otherwise, it seems unlikely.
so true!!! motorcyle races on speed chanel are use to fill time slots unused by NSCAR shows. So we get just a few of the main races and they are usualy time delayed

I would go with Green/red
Tarheels colors are not smuf blue!!!!

I belive the speed limit on the Gap is now 30mph. I remember 10 years ago when it was 55 mph and as the traffic increase the speed limit decreased.
As long as you act like its a public road and not a race track you will not have any problems and should have a much better time.
I might try and meet you out there Frenando!

That looks like fun!!!

That is the luckiest bastard I have ever seen!!!

Thanks Pierre for the updates!
Great to see Colin Edwards doing so well in testing!

I have the Shoe rf1000 and its the best helmet for the money I have ever owned. BUT!!! everyones heads are shaped differently so you are going to get way different answers from everyone. Best think you can do is go to local dealers and try on as many helmets as you can and find. That way you can see what fits you best and narrow it down. As far as the rf1000. It is a great helemt for the money you can not go wrong with it as long as it fits you properly.
Good luck!!!!

Al Gore - Ellen Degeneris show extolling their virtues just a few days ago!
Don't anyone dare ask how I know this!

It is supposed to be 53 degrees & sunny here in Northeast Ohio tomorrow. This is unusually warm weather for December here. I just watched that Al Gore movie "An Inconvenient Truth" last night & I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should take a peek at the Global Warming thread Oh well if the world is going to heat up I may as well enjoy it while it lasts.
I heard Al Gore invented global warming
