Please take care with compressed air, not to much pressure to start with.....
I cleared the blocked vents on 1100 sport and breva with a mountain bike inner brake cable and a slowly rotatating battery dril.
Working from the top and slowly introducing down into the vent. took a bit of time. Worked well for me

Cannot directly reply to the request fot ECU casing Thread.
The early fiat Punto 1000cc ? (not sure of acutal cc) in europe used the same casing as the Guzzi ECU. Plenty around on ebay for not many UK Pounds

09-26-12: I have located the latest backup and am in the process of restoring the website to its entirety to a new host. Depending on the length of time it takes to do the migration, the current estimate is to be back online by 09-28-12. Thanks, Luap

John - check out Jamies post here for some info:-

and, from this posting:-

Thanks for the info. I had heard that the BMW C1 headlamp was the same. There is one for sale on ebay right now, however it does not have the same part number. It is hard to discern the full text from the picture, but it is something like "tri.o.m 2080..."
I have to agree with your assessment: is indeed utter crap! If I can't resolve this problem, I might just remove it completeley and get a daylight MOT! I would hardly notice the difference as I only use the bike during the summer months.
How about running the whole caboodle through a bandsaw to get the lens off the pathetic black plastic silvered bit then moulding a new piece to fit with better adjustment? Just a thought... new LHD ones are over £100 - scary, but then it is from Built Minus Wit.
The BMW C1 headlight is same as the Guzzi 1100 sport. The can be purchased from Motor works Homeforth part number 63122350525 £94.54p inc vat +carriage special order (2010 price) parts list http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=0191&mospid=51722&btnr=63_0621&hg=63&fg=05&hl=2
also look at changing the wiring to head light look at http://ebbo.org/headlamp_relays.php.
Made up this loom cost about £20.00 using good relays etc just need time to fit and test
Mangaed to get a spare headlamp from e blag for £30:00p inc postage from germany

Hi Pavel
Has the TPS been taken out of the throttle body by the guzzi shop? Could have been put back into the body incorrectly.
As the voltage never drops below 5V.
Never having taken the TPS out of my 1100 sport, that only solution I can think.

update
thanks for the advice so far - I tried earthing the wire to the indcator light and sure enough it lit up nice & bright so suspect oil pressure switch is at fault (can't undertake switch test recommeded in manual as I don't have the right equipment). i'll order a new one and report back when fitted

The inter-moto oil pressure switch, part number 50570 is the same switching pressure as the Guzzi one but has a spade type connector.
Readily available in all good moto-factors (hopefully)

There will be a meet on Monday 9th June 2008 from 1830 onwards at the Bradford Arm halfway between Telford and Cannock on the A5 (postcode ST19 9QT).
The Bradford Arm is about equal distance between Birmingham, Stoke and Shrewsbury so lets put a few Guzzi's on the carpark.
Food good as well!!
