  1. Never heard of fog lights (connectors) on a V11, but maybe someone else does.

WOOPS, It seems I left something out.

This is a 2010 Stelvio, it has a fog light kit that works integrally with the switch on the handle bar. The connectors are hidden somewhere in the fairing.

  2. Hi,

Does anybody out there know where/what color etc. the stock Fog Light connectors are? I think they are tucked up under the fairing somewhere.

Will be hooking up an aftermarket set, and would like to use the stock handlebar switch.

    Thanks :notworthy:

  3. The CARC has remained pretty bulletproof. I have heard of one or two cases world-wide of the pinion nut coming loose and there was a very early recall on some Breva 11 and Griso 11 boxes due to Piaggio having bought in some cheap, inferior bearings but otherwise they seem to be good.

Chances are if you whip in the clutch and coast the noise you are hearing will be a combination of tyre noise and the straight cut gears in the gearbox running together, there are thirteen straight cut pinions in the box all spinning around together with only 1/2 a litre of oil to shut 'em up, it's not surprising it makes a bit of a racket.

    Hi Pete!

thanks for the quick response! Thats put me at ease. I understand that testing it with the bike on the center stand in gear is not a good idea?

.. I have done that and it sounds like somebody tossed a couple of nuts in there!

    Thanks for your insight!!

  4. Breaking in my new Stelvio grand total of 160 miles so far. Enjoying the heck out of it.

However I have noticed (especially after I installed the aluminum rear bags TraX, noise reflection?) that the rear end seems to make a lot of noise. If i pull in the clutch at 40 and listen, it makes a nice little howling sound. On the center stand in gear it rattles more than I would think is should, even with a bit of rear break applied.

Does anybody have any insight? Is this normal? Does the CARC drive have any known issues?

Thanks for the help in advance. :bier:

  5. :D Wuhuu very excited about my new 2010 ABS Stelvio, enjoying the heck out of it.. all 55 miles of it so far :D I'm sure this topic has been covered before.. can anybody point towards a topic or provide recommendations for proper break in above and beyond the standard shop recommended??

All help would be great!! thanks in advance for the help a you Guzzi experts ;) .

  6. My 2003 V11 Le Mans has a rather annoying neutral lite issue. The neutral indicator often does not light up when in neutral. It seems to work better after the bike has been running for a bit. I have pulled the ground wire on the neutral switch on the transmission and grounded it, the light does not come on (so i assume its not the neutral ground switch). When I ground this wire (at the trany) I hear a relay clicking, could it be a faulty relay? Do any of the relays affect the Neutral light? Bad wire in the dash?

:D Any and all help would be GREAT! :D
