  1. “CEE?” is Italian for?
Comunità Economica Europea - European Economic Community

  2. To trace a leak I have always completely degreased, puffed the area with white talcum powder and then fired her up.
It immediately obvious where the source is by the dark staining in the powder.
    Chris.
    Thanks Chris

  3. Good things to know about your Sport! The foil tag on the left side will give you the actual build date so you know if it is early vs late. Perhaps of no consequence unless it is very early. There were some unique features on the earliest Sports.
Sometime when you have your tank off, you can see if the white paper tag specifies UK as the export market. Notice my Sport specifies "USA / N. Zelanda".
Again, I had thought that Rube Goldberg vapor recovery system was a US thing. All the  1/2" fuel line used in mine is stamped "Made in USA" . . .
    A UK bike then. e4b4680c6070a789f2613a332031934c.jpg

  4. Here's the "About us" page: http://www.house-tuning.de/en/pagina/editor/whoare/#table
They are based in Italy, they apparently have specific maps for the Moto Guzzi V11; http://www.house-tuning.de/en/moto/model/3646-moto-guzzi-V11-Le-Mans-1100cc-E0-91cv/#table
They offer various services, including an interface to read ECU, for cars.
Anyone knows them? they seem to be based in Italy although the URL of their website and inquiry email ends in .de
They sell 250 EUR the map for a V11. Would the file be usable with GuzziDiag? I have not looked at what format is required, but it may be easy to port the map to be uploaded via the Lonelec interface?

250 EUR seems a tad excessive.... Even with the increase in freight charges due to covid

  5. Trying to find the source of a little oil leak! Yes...I know

It seems to develop mainly on the right side of the engine. I carried out an oil change and service recently and set the valve gaps. I renewed the cam cover gaskets at the time.. I've checked the torque on the heads and visually the gasket seal seems fine. Head gaskets also seem ok. The leak seems to come from under the tank down into the engine but as I say mainly on the rh side. I'll take the tank off next and check the breather hose etc.

If be grateful for any help with the diagnosis

  6. Can anyone tell me what 2 breather tubes threaded through this guide attached to the sump plate and where they are attached? I dismantled the bike some time ago and recall there being breather tubes held in place by this fitting. I can't seem to find them referenced in any manual I have. It's a 2001 V11 Sport 55066d93fbfa0c288316a46b1986e121.jpge9431ad0abeeaaf31d2ee738c04bafac.jpg4225d36106b5ffeb045f1ce7c218fbc5.jpg
