jhh Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I've been leaning towards doing something cafe racer'ish to my bike, so I took the fairing off. It just didn't look right compared to the other bikes I've seen like that (two of the last three BOTMs). Is there a difference in the headlight mounting bracket for them? It seems to stick out much further forward than the fairing-less bikes of the month I see in the post. The instrument pod seems a little further forward as well. Greg Field Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 You can replace the stock headlight mount with those from a V11 Sport. Then, the headlight will swing with the bars. Also, you can move the fairing back to swing with the bars, too. You'll also need an instrument plate. If your local Guzzi dealer doesn't have the stuff, I think we do at Moto INtl.
