Mistral standard oval VS Mistral Reverse Cone Mufflers?

 Since I have never listened to these systems what is the difference between say the Mistral Stainless Oval Mufflers and the Mistral Round Stainless Revers Cone mufflers?

 

 Is there a particular preference between one design or the other?

reverse cones look better, mine had a raspy NASCAR TYPE SOUND. oval sound  better deeper tone.

photos someone? doubt there be mush performance diferance, asume they arnt a real reverse cone internals proberly the same.

Megaphone is a maths thing but as soon as you put bafling in them you would have to loose any performance gains

nice, compleatly different look to the can aye, i expect they woulkd sound a wee bit more raspy, i had mistral cans on my 1100 sport a very nice sound

I have the reverse cones. They are loud, although they come with sound suppressors (which I haven't tried). The Guzzi crossover softens the rasp slightly, I discovered after I installed a Mistral crossover.

I don't think the reverse cones are the best sounding aftermarket pipes, but they are the best looking pipes for the V11.
