F344 Posted June 28, 2004 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Even with less than half a tank of gas I am getting fuel dripping out of the small line that exits at the bottom of the bike. This is the line with no clamp that comes from the barbed fitting on the left side of the spine inside the "crotch" of the tank. When the bike sits in the sun and the tank warms up I get a 8 - 10 inch fuel spot under the bike. If I open the gas cap and vent the pressure, it stops. But I don't see how I am getting the pressure in the first place. Something must be clogged. Does everybody have this happen? Frank Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted June 28, 2004 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Pull the tank off and get rid of the little valve that prevents fuel from leaking if the bike falls over - we know you will never let that happen!
