Another advantage is that the finish on the old model is a lot easier to touch up than the black crackle finish. I really need help here, i currently have a stable of 6 bikes and need to sell (1), its between the 2001 v11 or the 2003 v11, I'm so torn as to what to sell any ideas or party's interested buying one of the two. Keep the bike you like the best, for whatever reason. My vote would be for the 2003 if it had all the changes to it, but since it does't I would keep the 2001 to get more for your 2003 and then you have more cash for the "toy" fund.
