Riding Boots

I'm looking for a hybrid motocross/enduro boot right now, something that one can walk in, but lots of strength.

Ciao, Steve G.

That would be ideal.

I have not seen anything close.

Something well padded, heavily shelled, but with a hinged ankle.

A sturdy, protective but slim toe, would also be nice.

I love my Sidi Vertigo Corsa Air.

It has good bracing, but I fear the plastic bits might just as easily increase injury as reduce it. :huh2:

My Sidi Sympatex touring boots are crash tested without injury :bier:

But my Sidi boots have no padding other than for comfort, and offer no where near the protection of dirt bike boots.

:drink: luckily we've just had two ''nice'' days of rain.as we turn the corner to spring in the wide brown land, awaiting the long hot dry summer here as described by robbie coltrane. as AUSTRALIA. skin cancer and skippy!

Héy, nice boots!!! Are they only waterproof or really impermeable? How high are they?

here are the specs:

Waterproof Leather/1150 Denier Nylon Upper

Waterproof/Breathable Sympatex Plus Bootie

Aerospacer Mesh Collar Lining

Flex Cuff

Heavy Duty Casted Hardware

FPS Footbed with Dual Shock Pads and Antibacterial Treatment

Polyurethane Midsole

Composite Shank

Aggressive Slip-Resistant Outsole with Tire Tread Design

Available in Medium and Wide Widths

since there is the sympatex membrane, that is the same used for riding boots, i would say they are impermeable, up to the top. They are 8" tall.
