when you start up the bmw it even sounds flat, when you start up the guzzi, ITS ALIVE AND KICKING! love me beema for long trips and two up rides, but my guzzi, a v11sport, feels special, and stirs much fun and emotion.

Thx Tom, Moto intl. came thru. seemed to be the only one in the states. Have a Teo Lamers adapter if anyone wants ??????????? would it be possible to put a speedo drive on the front wheel, ducati part mebbez, just a thought

a great bike to ride, very easy on the eye, even easy to work on, tho not for everyone, they have a charm all of there own.

Hi, its very poor to have worn so badly at such low mileage, hope your new parts last a lot longer, was this problem just on 2003/2004 bikes? whenever i see this sort of thing i allways worry about my own bikes internals.

Like your thinking with the spring, i think i will order one myself. the thread on the oil pressure switch is the same on some oilhead bmw oil pressure switches,i had one so gave it a try while waiting for the moto guzzi one to arrive.

my oil warning light did not work,i put a new pressure switch on, and it works fine now, it was not expensive, may be worth fitting a new one on yours.

Hi all,started riding in 1975, owned all sorts from a bsa bantam to harley davidson tourglide, love bikes, girlfriend says i have OCD,a few years ago a friend let me try his california,i liked it,that started me looking at moto guzzi,then last year i helped on the repair of one, a brilliant green 2000 model v11 sport, it struck a cord with me,then two months ago i stuffed my bmw, insurance wrote it off, so been chugging about on my, dare i say it harley, enough of that. Next thing i know, i am asked if i know anyone after a moto guzzi, a v11 sport, the very one i had helped sort, all being well i will hopefully be the new owner of this bike very soon,it is in very nice condition, but not been used much the last few years, hence for sale, ive no idea what its true value is but we have shook on £2300 lee
