  2. Here are the details. As I wrote, I built a performance engine for my 02 California Special Sport. A couple more details are the custom 2" single wall, tig welded, heat wrapped exhaust with o2 bungs. On the end are Cone Engineering inverted cone mufflers. Instead of doing slip on pipes I used turbo V clamp unions. There isn't much room for error designing this system that slip ons may have compensated for. I fitted a Bosch wide band o2 sensor which connects to MyECU with the idea of running closed loop. I also have an AFR gauge/controller mounted on the bars. Every thing was running fine for weeks as I was going through the ritual of tweaking the map. I blasted (90 - 100) out to the rally in Western NY. Ran great. Rained that night. The next morning I went to go for a ride and I couldn't get a couple hundred yards from the site. All indications were I was out of gas. I turned around and limped to a station and put in just over 3 gallons. I wasn't out of gas. I limp back the the rally. There was a dealer there from Buffalo, Kustom Works. Great guys! I start talking to the mechanic and deduce my fuel pump was crapping out. The mechanic said he didn't have a pressure gauge to test it. I said no problem, I carry a spare fuel pump. I pull it under the tent for some shade and I'll change it. New fuel pump and I was back running. On the way home couldn't get over 70 - 80. Felt like running out of gas again. AFR's would also spike. You guessed it. Clogged fuel filter. Put in a new filter and then the weird shit started happening. Lost the tach. Bike would start, stumble then just crank. I got to thinking about the rain. First time bike with new engine and ecu saw rain. When I swapped out the fuel pump, under the ecu, I noticed the silicone around the little white wire coming from the o2 gauge to the MyECU allowing closed loop to function was not a tight seal. With the bike in the side stand, leaning to the left I thinking some moisture got into the ecu through that little white wire. After downloading a few older maps that I knew worked I still got the same results. I dig up my stock ecu, connect it and the starts and runs repeatedly. This is telling me that MyECU has some issues. I believe that moisture got in just enough the start to degrade the circuitry not right away but over a little bit of time. The bike got me home, about 250 miles. After over 200 emails with Jefferies I think he's a bit fed up with me. I can't blame him. He sent me the following link which brought me to this forum. I know my bike has what looks like some sort of Delco plug similar to the V11 LeMans. I need some direction getting to the site to download the software and where to source out the connectors. 3. I have a 2002 California Special Sport that I built a performance engine for. 11:1 pistons, Mike Rich Motorsports ported, flowed and dual plug heads, titanium push rods, Megacycle X-9 cam, lightened fly wheel, balance crank, rods and pistons and a high volume oil pump. I started with an ECU from Jefferies MyECU out of Australia. I've been having issues with it since I went to a rally In western NY and it rained one night. After many emails with Jefferies, he sent my a link to this forum which I was already a member. With the engine I've described, do you think the software would be able to modify a stock ECU to meet my needs? If so what do I need to do to get started?
