Man, if I had an ex wife who looked like that, I would not be the troubled man I am today! Of course, I don't know how you could let THAT go bye bye. Sort of like Tom Cruise dumping Nicole Kidman. Makes me wonder about that boy......

You like other girls too? Like this fine Cuban lady I took a picture of in Miami? Believe me, I likes em ALL! Antionio my friend, what is that avatar you are using? The crown and shield? Whatever it is it is COOL.

I'm pretty disappointed with FBF. I bought their pistons which seem to work fine, but they WILL NOT answer an email. I need an extra part from them. but I have NO HOPE of ever getting it. ALL SALES ARE FINAL MY FRIENDS. That means they will take your dollars, but you will never hear from them again. Maybe it's different in Europe for some reason. If someone out there has a link to FBF THAT THEY ANSWER, I would love to have it. On sound, I would say the Cobras are best, followed by Titanium. Ti not only looks great, but they all seem to have a rich sound. You get what you pay for I guess.

Bento, when a member of a forum has been around for a couple years, any links he puts up is not usually considered 'spam.' Al, the old 'version' did in fact get a little out of hand. Water under the bridge my friend, water under the bridge.

There are not many Guzzis that are not STRANGE my friend. If you heard this bike you would have love in your heart. And, yes, I appologize if I encouraged racial hatred. I'm pretty sure I didn't kindle anything of the kind, though. I usually encourage Enzo hatred - which sort of amuses me. Now I just want to talk about harmless sci-fi stuff.

All the absinthe, booze and dope has been thrown out. The blood stains have been washed off the carpets, weapons confiscated..... and ALL who were tossed in the many brawls are invited back to my new discussion group featuring a WEEKLY New Age topic! If you want to see some of the best articles on UFOs and Area 51 and all such similar topics from NEXUS magazine, come and join us. Some folks from other Art Bell boards will also probably show up, so I ask the Guzzisti to set a fine example for them. Full profanity filters are now in place and peace and light abounds for all of God's children. As always, there is no attempt to draw away people from this or any other board. It is a weird science and occasional guzzi info area.

Wow, fantastic! Paris Hilton looks very nice. Also, I missed the one about a mud flap for the front fender. I want one! Where do I get it? I also like the plastic frame slider. Can you get one from an English language site?

ha. Antonio, it is actor Gary Oldman from the movie 'Dracula' by Italian director Francis Ford Coppola. One of my favorite movies.

I have a nice DVD called 'One Man's Island' about a 50-year-old Canadian guy who makes the cut at the TT. Lots of good footage. A good documentary. I don't think I could watch it live. Makes me nervous. I've found that I am not nervous if I"M riding, but I don't like watching dangerous crazy stuff. This is similar to how I feel about riding in a car or plane because I don't have control. And, all the blood and guts.....no thanks.

Wow, you're about the fourth person to make fun of the unfinished welds. Now I'm starting to think about it myself. I wish I'd thought of it before I coated them! In a way, my feeling is that it makes the pipes look 'one-off.' One of a kind and homemade, which they are. It's sort of funky retro to me - as is the color. I really LOVE these pipes. The sound is quite unique, but it's not just noise, these pipes PUT OUT as anyone knows who has seen the dyno. I can't even open the throttle in second gear on a damp street because I'll high side! But, NEXT time I coat them, I'll smooth it out for the Guzzisti!

Thanks Lex, I'll order from the site. I won't step a foot into a Walmart.

JRT, They don't change color AT ALL. They are coated in and out with ceramic, and then a clear coat is applied to the outside. They look very sharp. Matt finish with a sort of slight sheen to them. YOU BROTHAS SHOULD HERE THE SOUND! One of these days soon I'm going to put together a sound file for ya.

Picked up my 'cobras' today. Ceramic coated at Performance Coatings South of Seattle. I did have black, but changed to silver. For those who don't know, this is my own designed two-into-one system that fits on V11 Sport and Lemans. The Dyno put my RWHP at 87 with this single mod. Also, the torque curve is so straight, it is not even a curve. 63 pounds all across. If I can find seven guys who want a set, I'll sell them for $700 bucks.

I don't know about the DVD, but I taped a couple MotoGP races on TV and got some great footage on board as Rossi and Tamada were dicing it out. Tamada sometimes gets his ELBOW down! Great stuff. Does the DVD show a lot of this 'on board' cameral stuff? Where do I get a copy? How's about a link?

So are you saying the eagle was not used by the Italians in WWII? You'll notice if you go back and have your daughter reread for you what I wrote, that I made mention to the LOGO and not to the company itself. But I bet that the people who ran Guzzi had something to do with the fascist Italian war machine. By the way, I hope none of you own a Mercedes! Should we go there? How far do you want to take political correctness? If we want to talk logos and symbols - the swastika is a religious symbol that means 'good luck' in about every country in the world. Goes hack to the Tibetans and Hindus. Really it's an awesome symbol that also represents the sun. It even represents the current world of struggle and change. It has a psychological and even spiritual meaning on a very deep level. Whatever you think about the Nazis, that flag is probably the most powerful flag ever conceived of.
-
YEA! Those Guzzis go right back to those Nazis. Where do you think the eagle logo comes from???? That's right, the fascist Italian air force! So, let's demand that the importers have this logo changed so that we don't put out the wrong message here. I'm getting concerned. Think how politically incorrect these Guzzis are!!

I think it's a lot of to do about nothing. He's 16 and he likes to drink and go nuts. Just like most 16-year-old boys. He's going to a PRIVATE costume party, and all things Nazi are usually at such events. You could go down the street in London and see 'The Producers' with men in Nazi uniforms dancing in a chorus line. You could go into the gay district of any city and find men in Nazi wear. Why? Because it is ludicrous. Plus, Nazis had great fashion sense and their uniforms are beautiful. I like pointing out that Nazis are no worse than Americans. Americans run torture camps, too. What's the difference? Nazi leaders were at least on record for having high I.Qs. - something you couldn't say about American leaders. It's all hypocritical baloney if you ask me.

Yes! I would like some clear, well-lit cut out pics of the Guzzi engine and drive train. I can use them for my site to post and refer to. Please post them for me. Thanks!

For more top end you would want to combine a crossover, or two-into-one along with an open design. Problem is, such things are very loud. I think you want a sort of increasing diameter toward the back end in a perfect world. My design has that, but it also has an end cap that provides just a bit of back pressure. That cap takes some away from the real top end, but it would be too monstrous for the street. Also, for around town, you want that back pressure. Not much though. Guzzis love an open system. I have no baffles or wool in my Cobras. Yet, it is not so loud as to cause disturbance. These pipes look cool to me, but I'm afraid there is too much resistance to the flow going on. Frank might even try cutting and welding in a short 'H' crossover in there to see what happens. Might free it up a bit.
-
Yes, Frank, you were right to go with Enzo's idea. I see a problem with yours. Al is sure correct about brackets and welds. Everyone should always check your exhaust brackets, otherwise you will crack your header pipes. Recently, I found I was riding around with my Cobras without the bracket support! The bolt had fallen out. Luckily, no damage. I used some beefy pipe. I really like the looks of the interior of those cans. That's cool.

Frank, Excellent job! I can't open your link, though. I really would like to hear it. I'd love to hear it live. I'm interested how this has changed the bike's performance. Your bike looks great, by the way. If anyone is interested in my extra set of Mistras, I can make you a fine deal. Just email me and we can work something out. I can send you some digital pics so there is no confusion. I DON'T have the crossover, however.
