  1. Yes! Did you get the PCIII map from FBF? They have a map that is very close to perfect. With the Stucchi crossover it is great - but a little off with the Mistral crossover. Enjoy!
  2. I'll have to tell that to the thousands of club racers around the world who don't have full sponsorship. They would be elated to know that they can stop paying their own way finally! (and most of them still have solid pegs!)
  3. What if you lowside your bike and your foot is still under the bike and the footpeg folds up? Seems to me there would be a substantial disadvantage there as the pavement grinds your foot down to a stump. On the other hand there would be a signifigant advantage to solid pegs in that you could just slide your foot out, coast to a stop and jump up virtually unscathed! As to cylinder guards that have subsatntial protection there is a thread somewhere that shows one with a plastic spool on it but that is the only one I know of. I'll try and find the thread.
  4. Sargeants IPA brewed right here in Chilliwack by Old Yale Brewing! My favourite!
  5. Did you think that anyone could expect to get hamstrung from an average accident? Better get some more data to back this up!
  6. OK. I am still happy with my argal pegs and I hear you with your coments. I don't want everyone to change because of me but I am happy with my footpegs and I will not change back to folding pegs!
  7. Cool. I hear you big time. I have a huge desire to make helicopter noise and the company I work for encourages this behaviour.
  8. How to get rid of the Inlaws! Boom!
  9. They are getting pretty crazy with airplanes now. This is like MotoGP in the air! Red Bull Air Races
  10. I tell you what! You show me that you can lean your bike over far enough to drag folding footpegs and I'll put them back on my bike. I presume you will try and convince all the road racers of this as well? They all swear by solid pegs (and they do tend to lean their bikes over a fair ways).
  11. Good question and one that I am going to have to check out. havwe been reading lots on those motors and there is a lot of good mods available - the Will Creedon chip being mentioned quite a lot.
  12. Thanks Jaap. That gives me some good ideas although I am still going to check out the possibility of an alternate airbox now. It may be close to impossible but i want to try.
  13. You sound more like a Canadian. Cheers!
  14. I can't wait to see Tex in a restaurant now!!
  15. Or 214 power, eh!
  16. Just have a look at my bike next time you are here. Gord can order you in a set any time but they are not cheap. Are you going logging with me in Dunkley this week?
  17. I'll be with ya all the way! If the Quebecers can do it so can we! Reminds me of a joke. A Quebec fellow and an Ontario feller were walking towards each other on the beach one day when they saw a bottle in the sand. They both pounced on it at the same time and wrestled for it. Suddenly a Djinni came out of the bottle and saw the two men holding the bottle. "He said "Since there are two of you you each get only one wish. Who wants to go first". The Quebecois looks at the Ontario feller and says "I want a wall 100 feet high all around the le Province du Quebec to keep out the Henglish!!" Boom!!! The wall was there! The Djinni looks at the Ontario feller and says "" What is your wish?" The Ontario feller scratches head a bit and then says "I want it filled with water!".
  18. I was riding the V10 yesterday and I found the same thing. I put it in a bit of a broadslide at about 70 kph then had to hang on tight when it found some traction (no steering damper - whoa!). Still couldn't stop smiling though. Hope to hook up with you and Steve at or near the bike show for a Guinness or two. I'll try and keep a couple of cold ones under my MGS on display!!!!
  19. I am thinking similar thoughts. I wish there was room to make a bigger airbox because I appreciate how the system is all linked together but there seems to be so much restriction in the stock setup. I am going to brainstorm my bike when I get working on it next and see if there is a way to make a bigger, more breathable airbox! I just happen to have a friend staying in town for a couple of weeks who knows how to mold carbon fibre.......
  20. Thankyou. I don't know if i really want to change the system but I am glad that I remeber seeing it on the V11 as well as the V10! How goes the riding with this wonderful outflow, Brian? I was going to test out the MY15M on ny V11 this weekend but it is a little slippery out here in Harrison lately!!
  21. I am talking about the air sensor on the airbox. I may be confused now because I have been looking at both the V11 and V10. There is a sensor that leads into the airbox on one of them. I'll have to go to the shop tomorrow and check it out. Aside from that I do have a Stucchi crossover on my V11 and it has an input for an O2 sensor but it is blocked off right now.
  22. I am wondering about removing the airbox and adding K&N filters and was curious to know about what to do with the O2 sensor. Can it be blocked off, removed or relocated or can it be fooled into giving viable readings. I hope Al and the rest of the scientists can fill me in on this one!
  23. That is my plan for the worst case scenario. However the guys at Valley Moto Guzzi tell me I won't have to worry about that now!
  24. You can never have too many bikes. if you find yourself short of bikes just do what I do. Get a couple of bottles of good red wine and then log on to ebay. That's how I made up for selling my ZX6R and ended up with a Centauro instead!!! Trust me, it works awesome!
  25. I re-registered but didn't get a confirmation email to activate and it won't let me retry!
