and the speedo hasn't worked properly since the gearbox replacement

Anyone know when the next set of parts for the V11 Sport transmission recall Might be sent out? Around the begining of January my dealer calls and says to bring in my '00 V11 Sport for the transmission recall. He says that MGNA wants these things done quickly. Well, I finally got it to him the other day (he's a couple hundred miles away). He then tells me that he can't get the parts from MG, they're back ordered. He has a couple of V11's sitting there waiting for the same thing. Anyone know what the story is? They want these recall repairs made soon but don't have the parts? I know they got some parts in for a few of the recall jobs but can't get more.

The original tach in my '00 V11 Sport lasted about 18 months. Now the second tach went dead. In the past two weeks I have been thru 3 more tachs. First one was DOA, second worked for 120 miles, third was DOA (dealer said it was a working tach). I tried running separate ground wires from the housing and mounting posts. (The bottom mounting post broke loose and had to be JB Welded before I could install) but that didn't get it to work. At this point I'm wondering if it's the tachs that are the problem. What can I check on the bike to see if the problem is there? Other than the tach, everything is running great.
