  1. I also have an '04 Naked, and have been looking at the same question: what is the best way to go on a fairing? I agree with your choice of the R90s fairing, it looks fantastic on the V11, as evidenced by the 'how to' section. The problem is finding one. Airtech makes a copy for about 350 dollars, which, not by chance I guess, is about what an original goes for on eBay lately. There was a copy pulled of an original R90s fairing that sold this morning on eBay for about 90 dollars, no screen, no dash panel, finished in grey primer. (looked nice) Check Omar's vintage cafe fairing as well. it looks a little long to my eye, but is made for a large light. An original R90s fairing, never repaired with smooth paint would be the best possible start to the project, but the line forms behind 100 BMW enthusiasts... I am interested in any info anyone has on color match for the red that Naked and Ballabio models often wear, as getting the fairing is only the first half of the job.
  2. So no response from a high-mile stock V11 owner? Nobody has any thoughts about how this situation might be avoided/ might fail to apply? It would seem that, lacking evidence to the contrary, this problem will afflict all of us, to a greater or lesser extent. I haven't even picked up my new Sport Naked from the shop yet, and I am thinking I will need to shop for new valves already. Drag.
