  3. Today I received my "Mr. Beer" home micro brewery that my son gave me for X-mas. I love interesting beers and am looking forward to brewing some home brewed beer. Have any of you tried this,or are familiar with this product? Any "tips and or tricks" you would like to share??
  4. Did you add heim joints to your existing shaft, or replace the whole thing? Do you have a picture you can post? This is prolly a good project for the "how to section"

  10. Ben, Are you referring to the bolts on the gas cap? Mine is a 2003 sold as a 2003( no front crossover pipe)
  11. What do you think will look good to recover the foam with? It does look kind of cheesy, as a low quality foam that doesnt hold up too well to UV.

Yesterday I took the rear wheel off the v 11 to grease the splines, and noticed that the "rod" that attatches to the top of the rear box ,at the top attatchment point doesnt move freely, I loosened the bolt and the rubber/metal joint is very stiff, I thought the rear drive would swing easily at that joint, but it is very tight, the only give when the swingarm arcs up and down with suspension travel is from the rubber "bushing " flexing. I realize this "rod" is meant to prevent jacking on the suspension under acceleration/deceleration, but is this joint supposed to be real tight? ,almost un-moveable? should that bolt be greased?I havent put things back together until I hear from the experts here. Thanks.

  19. My local honda dealer has a set of these metzlers on his rack that he is willing to give me a great deal on. Anyone here have any opinions on these either good or bad? Sorry about staritng a tire thread, folks....
  20. I would like to remove the rubber tank pad on my v 11 sport, does anyone here know the proper method for removal? Thanks in advance.

My other rides are a 1997 honda V4 Magna( sneaky fast Harley eater), a 2001 honda cbr 600 f4i,a 2000 Kawasaki vulcan nomad 1500( fat,slow,but comfy and real pretty with custom paint, skulls and "real fire" ) and my pride and joy a 2003 v 11 sport ,grigio naked with Ti exhaust kit,and carbon fiber kit. Ahhh, life is good!
  22. those pegs look nice, but trying to get Guzzi parts ,at least through my dealer now is almost impossible, Ive been waiting for warranty replacement intake boots to replace my cracked ones since late August.
  23. Thanks Docc, Im willing to try anything at this point, I went for a 45 minute ride today and the bottom of my feet felt like they were on fire! I wear size 10.5 -11 shoes.
