Early on Boz, Ben Sidran and Steve Miller played in the same band.(at UW Madison)
(where he became a member of The Ardells with Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs.[4] When Miller and Scaggs left Wisconsin for the West Coast, Sidran stayed behind to earn a degree in English literature. After graduating in 1966, he enrolled in the University of Sussex, England, to pursue a PhD. While in England, he was a session musician for Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton,- 1

Boz Scaggs was my hero back in the 70’s.. saw him every time he came to town. His first three albums are golden in my memory. Here’s another great performance from the closing of Fillmore west.. I couldn’t find any film of it but it’s probably out there.

Well well...another great race! Won't spoil the outcome for those who have not seen it yet! Nice to see the Big 3 fighting tooth and nail to the end.
Where did you watch it? I recorded on TruTv and before the race started it went into a nascar show then baseball.. how can I get the race now?

Guitar fest yesterday, Ava Mendoza was quite a guitar player, kinda Jazz fusion, free form.
She knows her chords.. not really my kind of music. She jammed with Jamaaladeen Tacuba.. they were hot.
Tony Futado was outstanding. He did a little cello banjo playing

I thought all drag racing had dropped back to the 1/8 mile.
My 300hp V-8 "back in the day" was a contender on the street. Probably mid-14s/ 90-ish on the quarter mile.
What was your trap time @fotoguzzi?

The Special Sport is a name they put on the Bassa after 2000.. I’ve owned 3 Bassa. Really good bikes if you like the cruiser style. I did a lot of traveling on mine.
